This is worst place to repair audio things. Takes forever and does not explain anything what is wrong.

Brought my amp to Midwest Late August for a rattling noise.. prior to I replaced all the power and pre-amp tubes. Even cleaned all components with contact solution.. Called Mesa Boogie and they told me Midwest was an Authorized Mesa Boogie repair center.4 weeks no call.. I called they told me tech will. Looking at it this Friday ..10 days later I call again.. Tech is looking at it. 10 days later I call again.. Repair completed.. Pick up the amp paid $75..Problem still exists.. Tech never phoned nothing on the invoice addressing the issue.. $75 to store my amp for 2 months.Useless..Third Coast amp repair. They know what they are doing.. Much better customer service..

The last of the high end audio repair shops in the area. You pay for their services but you don’t have to throw away your cherished gear.

Midwest Audio robbed me. WhenI took my Peavy IP2 7500 amplifier to them in July 2022, it would receive power and display the dim blue light for the “READY” status. But when I hit the power button it wouldn’t show the bright blue light or output any sound. Midwest kept my amp for 6 FRIGGIN MONTHS!!!!!!! And that’s after I paid them fan extra $50 or their “express” service. They had my amp for so long that my wife bought me a new for Christmas. I picked my old amp a few days ago because they still hadn’t fix it. I plugged it in at my house - it’s bricked. No power at all.I don’t know what they did to it, but at the least it’s in worse shape than when I took it there. I’m taking my back to them tomorrow and if they don’t put it back to it’s original condition I will file a police report. FYI: I have a witness who will sign a sworn affidavit that my amp partially worked before I gave it to Midwest.

Don't trust Mike! Midwest Audio will rip you off. I paid $550 for nothing. Zero. They lie. Enough said.

Given the constantly changing nature of modern household technology, it isn't often that I need to repair anything electronicky. When I do need it, these guys come through every time. Be warned, however - they are busy and have somewhat long lead times.

Midwest Audio helped me fix a problematic Mackie MR5 monitor a few years back. They were professional and charged a fair price. I recommend them for your audio repair needs.

Highly Recommended...Brought in my guitar amp for repair. Mesa Boogie Mark 3 (they are a authorized repair shop) needed a slide control pot and a filter changed out, when I recieved the amp back you couldn't tell the control slider and filter where changed (soldering looked like the original soldering done at Mesa. VERY PLEASED......Cost was VERY reasonable..... Took about 10 weeks to get amp back but worth every penny (plus that's what I was told when I dropped it off) Thanks Mike and Marina 8/2/2022

Had to wait 4 months before I could drop off my unit to be seen and paid additional to expedite the process given the extremely long wait. Seems to be a good decision and happy to get my unit back sooner than expected. Customer service was good and very friendly people.

Midwest Audio RIPPED ME OFF!!! They took my money (several hundred dollars), did NOT make the fixes I paid for, then for 3 months ignored my phone calls, emails and a letter I sent by US Mail, only responding later after waiting for 3 months and only after I challenged the charges to my credit card. Avoid doing business with this company at all costs. Zero integrity and a liar. I have proof of everything. A pitiful shame that someone would take money from a working musician who was already facing the challenges of reduced work during the first year of COVID. The owner's lack of integrity is disgusting. Don't be his next victim.

These guys handled a warranty repair for my Onkyo receiver. Cool staff of people and very professional. I'll definitely make the drive to use them in the future for repairs and to buy other electronics. Thank you MA!

This place will be closed soon I'm willing to bet. I wonder how the fire chief feels about this fire hazard of a place. Mike and crew are not fantastic. They are a scam. I brought my amp there beginning of June, to not get it until mid-end September. I waited patiently. Got it back and they did absolutely nothing to it. It's even dirtier than the first time I brought it in. Called to ask for a refund and before I could even talk to Mike the owner, I got a bunch of attitude from some ignorant lady, then Mike answers after I talked to the technician in denial, and refused to refund me. I don't understand why he wouldn't want to avoid further trouble like bad reviews and reports to the BBB and all the other sites I can report this. Mike obviously does not care for his business, employees (they sound unhappy) and especially not customers. Not a good company. STAY FAR AWAY
