I purchased a screen protector last year (& many more years before in the past) with the promise of lifetime warranty installations (for which I paid the required amount). Now, I’m being told that the policy has supposedly changed, and I am expected to pay every time I need it installed. This is absolutely outrageous & makes no sense. To make matters worse, the policy I found online directly contradicts what I’m being told. The 'Geek Squad' representative refused to show me any documentation to back up his claims, insisting I take his word for it instead of addressing the discrepancy between what he said and the official policy posted on their website. How is this acceptable?

Misleading Sales Tactics and Poor Service at Best Buy—
Bait and Switch on MacBook Protection Plan—
I was deliberately misled when purchasing my MacBook Pro. The sales associate insisted their protection plan would cover two years for $179.99 total, explicitly confirming this price when I directly asked. After purchase, I discovered via email it’s actually $179.99 PER YEAR - doubling the cost to $358.98.
Customer Service Failure
When I returned to address this deception, I was made to wait with no resolution. After 10 minutes, I was told the manager would be unavailable for another 30 minutes. No one attempted to help resolve the situation.
This is unacceptable business practice. I expect Best Buy to:
1. Honor the price as represented ($179.99 for two years)
2. Address the misleading sales tactics being used in your stores
Also it’s having issues with boot up ..worst experience ever ..need full refund from Best Buy
Potential customers beware: Get all protection plan details in writing before purchasing.

This was one of the worst experiences. I brought my iPad in as the screen wasn’t turning on. I have bby total membership. I had GS look at it and they said they can’t get it up on a computer. I told them to use a hdmi to lightning cable and hook it up to a tv/monitor, the said it wouldn’t work and would be a waste of time. I went and bought the adapter and HDMI cable, went to my car and I was able to view the screen and backup my iPad all in my mini van.

My observations when comparing this to other best buys has this one failing short. Wasn't greeted at the door. No one offered to help while in the store. The cashier was talking to another best buy employee while checking me out. The store does have a large selection. The greeter was not paying attention on the way out either.

Worst customer service ever. I had bought a dishwasher machine and they had offered me the credit card which came with two gifts through a promotion. I had to go back to the store because they wrote down the wrong delivery address. The girl who helped me, instead of changing the address she returned my purchase and redid the purchase which then lead to a different balance. The gift card was supposed to be free with no charge but they charged me anyways. When I saw my statement I talked with the manager asking them why they charged me for the cards when they told me it was a promotion. They removed one amount and they told the rest would have to wait 5-7 business days. It's been a month and they haven't answered or returned my money. The worst customer service from the first lady who messed up the order and the worst manager dealing with this problem is named Jared minor. THEY DONT CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER! I NEED A DIFFERENT SUPERVISOR TO FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY.

I am incredibly disappointed with Best Buy. I purchased a 77” television and then was unable to open it up and mount it due to a family health issue. Immediately after installing it one time allowed for it, the TV wouldn’t work and Best Buy has so far not been willing to work with me because I didn’t discover the pre-existing damage until after the return period. It never occurred to me that the TV might be damaged because the box was in perfect condition or that a damaged item was subject to the same return timeframe. Because I had no intention of returning it and was consumed in caring for my family, I wasn’t focused on a timeframe. Now, I find myself with a $1,600 item that has never worked through no fault of my own and Best Buy has thus far been unwilling to discuss a fair and reasonable resolution with me. They sold me a damaged item and turned their back on me. I hope they do the right thing for a loyal customer and reach out to discuss the matter.

Do not buy refrigerator from Best Buy. They farm out the so called "installers" and they do not know what they are doing. I'm not even sure what company they were with?
I had to reorder with new installers and need to wait a week to have it redelivered on my day off.
My son let them in, I was 6 min away and told them I'd be there within 10 min and they wouldn't wait.
They had me wait and block time for 4-hour arrival window but they wouldn't wait 10 minutes for me after I spent close to $4,000!!
Ridiculous and absurd, find a better place for appliances. Unfortunately, I may cancel this order and do the same.
***Update.. still have not had fridge delivered yet, it's been weeks now!! 😠
I had delivery set up three times, they never called to reschedule and never showed up, and then they don't call even after they don't show up. They care zero percent about customer care***😥

From the moment I entered staff was top tier greeting me and got me Keil who literally walk me through getting 2 televisions , sound bar and power cords all in my budget!! Excellent service 10 out of 10 I highly recommend.

The store's great. But when I asked the guy in the blue shirt about a price match, he said no since I'd already paid. I told him Best Buy does price matching for 14 days, so he said he'd try. I showed him Amazon's price, but he said they couldn't match it because Amazon must've given me coupons. I told him to check Amazon himself, but he refused.

I looked for an external USB hard drive. They have very few > 10GB. I went there because the Web page said that they have stock but They did not have it. Just gas money for nothing 😔.
