DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.Reserved a cargo van to move from IL to Michigan one way 5 days in advance with full faith that the vehicle I reserved would be there when I arrived to help my significant other move. Not only was the vehicle not there, but I was told my reservation wasn't even in their system. Had a confirmation email and everything, but nope.I was offered another truck thirty minutes in the opposite direction. The staff member clearly didn't give two craps about the inconvenience.There is a Uhaul right across the street and you can get a 10' truck for $50 more than a budget cargo van. Do that if you value your time and sanity.

Reserved a 26 foot truck as we were moving. Went to pick my truck up only to be told that no truck was available when I arrived. Budget corporate customer service is absolutely terrible as well. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, I was told a supervisor was not available and I’d receive a call back. This happened twice over the course of two weeks. On my third try I was finally connected and the supervisor did the bare minimum to try and help. Use any other service that you can for a truck rental.

?EDIT. So I've since talked to the on-site staff, and he was very helpful. However... the general customer service call center (the ones that your phone calls go to when the actual site staff aren't available) were unprofessional and RUDE!!!!and they will apparently just try and argue with you instead of actually helping or finding out who can help. Especially Carlos. He wouldn't even let me speak to a supervisor. He asked me why I wanted the supervisor, and then hung up on me. He was horrible. He left my mother in tears after that call. I've since talked to the supervisor. She was professional, but she needed better employees.I'm just happy that the on-site staff at both the pick-up and the drop-off locations were very nice.

This is a TERRIBLE company. Not worth saving a few few bucks. Confirmed reservation for 26 ft. Truck. Upon arrival with movers waiting at storage facility they informed us they had no such truck and had to settle for 16 ft. Now we have 2 moves with 2 rentals on 2 weekends costing us an extra $500! Then they lie through their teeth saying they tried to call us…. No record of any calls. Called corporate who basically told us to go jump in a lake and offered us reimbursement of 31.00$ ! Stay away from these shysters!

Potential cyber attack on your rental order. I got a fraud charge during my rental while traveling Quebec Canada. Customer service is very rude when I call back.

I didn't rent from this location. I could find the Budget location I rented from in Lisle inside the Hyatt Hotel 1400 Corporeal Drive Lisle, IL.My rental was a Chevrolet Equinox. I had 3 issues with the condition of the car. The only reason why I kept the car is I was on a tight schedule, didn't want to cancel and go through the process of waiting for another vehicle as they had very limited rentals & the condition of the car didn't hinder the operation of the vehicle. 1. The outside of the vehicle was partially clean, it still had a slightly noticeable dead bugs on the front bumper. The agent tried to explain the car had been washed but it's difficult to remove dead bugs that hit the car when driving on rural highways. I am a female & not new to renting cars or ritual highway driving. I didn't need or want the excuse, just acknowledge the car wasn't throughly clean. I told him, I knew how dead bugs on cars accumulate. 2. The car was clean on the inside, but it smelled of cigarette smoke. I don't smoke, so for me the smell was stronger & noticeable. I thought the smell would go away after I drove away, it didn't. I purchased a small bottle of fabreeze spray & sprayed the vehicle. It helped a little. Thank God, it was a nice day. I was able to take my 3 hr highway drive one way with the windows open. 3. I noticed the windshield wiper fluid was very low the warning fluid light was on in the car & no I couldn't believe this was checked. The windshield was full of highway bugs, I couldn't remove them with no windshield fluid during my inbound 3 hr trip. Thank God it rained the nxt day during my drive home. 4. The agent wasn't at the location when I returned the car on the next day Monday morning during their open business hours. I left the key in their drop box. I called corporate the same day, I returned the car. I made my complaint with customer service. She apologized but didn't offer any discount for my inconvenience. I requested a discount. She offered & I accepted the 10% discount because I didn't have the energy to fight for a greater discount. It will take 3-4 days to be reimbursed for the 10% discount. . They have a sign in the vehicle about a $400.00 fine if a person smoke in the vehicle, which is why I made my complaint. I didn't want to be accused of that or any fraudulent fee from this establishment. I most definitely would have fought them in court if that had happened. Budget is horrible. I'll never rent from them again. I should have followers my first decision to rent via Turo as I do when I fly out of State.

Rented a car online. Arrive to the location for pick up and no available car. The man behind the desk was rude, unprofessional and didn't offer any solution other than come back or get a vehicle they have available and pay the difference. Will never use this location. It's a dump.

Do not recommend. Refused to rent because they couldn't verify a valid drivers license. Called their customer service and they didnt find anything wrong with their system or my drivers license

Reserved a truck and was called the day of the reservation and told not only did they not have my truck but they also were closed 4 hours before our pickup time. They said they would find us another truck and would call back and they never followed up. You're not saving money booking a truck that doesn't exist. Go with whoever else you were considering so you don't have to endure the headache.

Really horrible service. They tried making me pay extra for not returning the van I had rented with the same gas I had picked it up with. To me it seemed they were just looking for a reason for an extra charge. Luckily for them we did get there an hr late from our return time and they were able to charge us 78 dollar late fee. At enterprise they wave the late fee as long as you return it on the day of the return. Last time we are renting from this shithole.

Had a reservation with this location for today, at 11:30 called to see if I could come sooner, and they said they canceled my reservation because they don't have any trucks. Swore they tried to contact me. Said they called and emailed. But when asked what my phone number was and what my email was they had typed them in wrong. I have had this reservation for over 3 weeks. Moving out of state and now I am frantically calling Uhaul praying they have a truck. Uhual may be a little more expensive, but just go with them from the jump. This headache isn't worth the little bit of savings.

I would give a ZERO if possible. We flew in from CA, paid to get to the location to pick up a vehicle, had a reservation, a confirmation email, and a confirmation text. We were told there were no vehicles available! We spoke to customer service to get a refund and was told it would take 3-5 days for a refund. We are stranded and this company took money for a service they knowingly can not provide. Absolutely unacceptable!!

I needed to return my rental truck after completing a cross country move. I called the location over 10 times to confirm the steps needed to drop off the truck. NO ANSWER, kept going to voicemail. The time for closing was getting close so I drove to the location. The doors were locked, they had closed early, and a gentleman was leaving the back parking lot with a baseball cap on (could have been an employee) looked right at me turned his head and rolled up his window!!!! They also do not do after hour drop offs so now I’m stuck with this truck and no where to park in my neighborhood. This is poor business and awful way to operate.
