“I worked as a chef B4 911, then volunteered for 4 years afterwards, while working my technical job in Florida. I will always feed someone. I can't tell you how fulfilling that is to my soul. You can experience it here at FMSC. The staff are extraordinary human beings, it is a professional non-profit organization that does gr8 work. I encourage you to volunteer your time. My son & I enjoy our monthly visits.”

“If you want to feel the divine deep sense of peace which goes beyond the normal world. Must visit the Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple in Aurora is a beautiful and peaceful place that brings a wonderful sense of spirituality and community. The temple is well maintained, with traditional architecture and a calm atmosphere that makes it ideal for prayer, meditation, and spending time with family. The rituals and devotional services are conducted with great devotion, and the overall experience feels welcoming and authentic. The temple also provides a great opportunity to connect with Indian culture and traditions, especially for families and children. Whether you are visiting for darshan, attending a special celebration, or simply seeking some peace, this temple is definitely worth visiting.”

“We are getting ready for a move at the start of next year cross country. So we are going through things that really don't need to make the trip. But also I wanted yo make sure that it went to a good place that would really help people get back on their feet, not just another big donation center for profit. The guy at the gate Barry was super nice, friendly and made me feel good about choosing this plate to donate to help others! I would highly recommend this place if you truly want to help others!”

“I met with the team at FVUW. To discuss how THEY see their work with families in the Aurora area and surrounding areas. I was so engaged by their authenticity as a staff and they're honest commitment to being TRANSformative, not PERformative as they seek to move into an equitable business model and service provider for a diverse community.”

“My mother has been at Jennings Terrace for over a week. She was welcomed by all the staff like she was family. Staff pop in her room all day and night to check on her and ask her if she needs anything. They are responsive in a timely manner when she hits the call button. The nurses are highly trained and compassionate. Every CNA and food service staff member is kind and caring. My mother is very happy there and feels safe and well cared for. It is hard on the heart to leave a loved one in a skilled care facility; but I am so grateful for this place!!”
