We attended a wedding at Company 251 recently. The venue was beautiful. Unfortunately, there were a lot of snags. The way the ceremony was set up, I could not see much of the people walking down the aisle and did not have a good view of the bride and groom. The cocktail hour was nice. The bartenders were good and kept the lines moving. We then went upstairs for dinner. We went to our tables and sat down. The salad was preset at the tables. As we were eating our salads, there was an announcement that there was a problem with the way the tables were set up. Then we were told that each table would need to move to a new table. We had to take our plates, silverware, napkins, water glasses, etc. to our new tables. There were a lot of tables with elderly folks with walkers and wheelchairs, and a lot of families with small children. This did not go smoothly. Some people never got bread, and some people never got a chance to eat their salad. When dinner was finally being served, our table was the last served. A server finally came to us and asked if we had been served yet. We said no. They then brought out a bunch of beef dishes. They tried to give me beef and I did not order beef. They then gave me a chicken. I had ordered the gnocchi dish. They told me they would have to go make the gnocchi, so I took the chicken. No one ever came to refill our beverages. My husband had to go hunt down a water pitcher and pour water for our table. We went back downstairs for dancing. There were a few tables set up, but definitely not enough for everyone to sit at. The cake was served downstairs. We selected our cake choices on our RSVP. The cake I selected and the cake my husband selected were not set out. I asked for them. Mine was brought out but my husband's never was, so he had to eat something else. We could not find forks, so we waited for a family member to finish and share their fork to eat our cake. We still had a great time because of the people we were with. The venue, however, seemed very unorganized.

Beautiful facility with great food. Everything was beautifully set up for the wedding. Only drawback was the utter lack of bathrooms. For a place that can handle 350 people they have 2 bathrooms total for each men and women. Women's have 2 stalls each and the men's have 1 stall and 1 urinal. The bathroom lines were ridiculously long because of this.

Beautiful, unique wedding and reception venue. The food was to die for! Only one complaint... a built in sound system is needed upstairs. We were sat at a table next to one of the speaker stands and it was miserable. Couldn't hear the person sitting next to me the music was so loud (all through dinner). Music should have been in the background. No one was there for the music.

Undoubtedly the wedding of me dreams. Every single detail does not go unnoticed here. Apart from the beauty of the venue itself, the staff makes planning easy. If I could have the day of coordinators with me everyday I would, so helpful and professional. We received so many compliments over the food and bar! I could not be more grateful for our experience here!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Co. 251. When looking through the many wedding websites, I had a feeling this was the venue where I would want my wedding to take place. I honestly didn’t have to go further than the first floor to be completely sold during the initial tour. The venue had the exact look I was going for – elegant and modern. The white brick and ceilings, the dark floors, and the gold accents in the lighting all give it a very classy art-deco feel. You can then take the elevator, which I was absolutely obsessed with, to the second floor for the dining. The natural wood floors give this space so much character. The high quality tables they use, again with all of the accents, gives the space a very warm feeling. And while guests are not allowed on the 4th floor, you can take some incredible photos up there! Aside from the venue itself, the food is incredible. When I found out Moveable Feast is the company that prepares the food, I knew I had to have my wedding here. My main goal for the wedding was to provide our guests with great food, drinks, and dancing. Co. 251 hit the ball out of the park with the food and drinks! I’ve received so many compliments from guests raving about the appetizers and their meal. And lastly, the people. You can have an amazing venue but really crappy service, which ultimately can ruin your experience, but that is not the case for Co. 251. Rachel, who handles the contract and the behind-the-scenes logistics was amazing. She was very responsive and was very accommodating when I wasn’t too keen on the wine options for the Tier 2 drink package (I will say, their house wine is incredible! I was very pleasantly surprised and very much enjoyed it during dinner). Lastly, but certainly not least, is Beverly, the day-of coordinator. I absolutely love and adore her. Half the reason I’m sad the wedding is over is because I won’t get to see her anymore! Beverly was my fairy godmother leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Anything I may have wanted or needed, Beverly was sure to make it happen. She made sure I had food to eat during the cocktail hour and worked seamlessly with my wedding planner. She was professional and respectful, as she didn’t want to step on my wedding planners toes (my wedding planner absolutely loved Beverly and loved working with her). To any bride looking at venues in the Western suburbs, I highly recommend looking at Co. 251. It is such a hidden gem. A venue like this in the city will cost you easily $20k+ more. You definitely get what you pay for here and I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Company 251 was the most perfect venue for our wedding it had literally everything we could ask for! Initially I was very drawn to how Co251 looked, every part of the space is so beautiful, it felt modern while also being a warm & classic which was exactly what we were looking for. Throughout the planning process we worked with Beverly & Rachel – both of whom were so extremely warm and a pleasure to work with. They made the planning process a breeze, and were totally flexible any time we asked for something out of the ordinary. Beverly & Rachel worked with us & our planner to ensure our big day looked exactly the way we wanted it too and made it feel so special and personalized to us. Beverly even brought us each a signature cocktail and tray of apps to enjoy in the bridal suite after the ceremony and before heading to cocktail hour – which was a lifesaver as we probably would have missed them otherwise. Our signature cocktails & food were absolutely to die for, like the best wedding food I have ever had, we still hear about the food from all of our guests. Also the Co251 service & bartending staff was exceptional. Everyone went above & beyond for both us and our guests. I loved our whole experience with Company 251 from start to finish – they made our wedding day so special, elegant & stress free. If you are thinking about booking Company 251 just do it!

The positives.1. The food was outstanding.2. Great repurposing of an industrial building.The negatives.1. Parking was limited.2. The lighting on the 2nd floor (dinner) needs improvement.Overall, it's a good venue for receptions, but the lack of available parking for guests will be a negative until that problem is solved.

Company 251 was our dream venue. From the clean white walls to the perfectly designed floor plans, we couldn’t have been happier. If you are looking for a wedding venue that wows your guests, this would be the one! The ceremony space is beautiful, intimate, and elegant. With a grand piano on site, you are able to make use of it, or simply have it as a stunning piece for photos.The bridal suite and groom suite were perfect for our bridal party and helped us calm our nerves before saying “I do.” Getting to spend that extra time with your family and friends really helps!The food was phenomenal, the bartenders knew how to get everyone to party, and our coordinator Beverly did a great job managing the entire evening to make sure everything went smoothly!Overall, our experience was a 10/10. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time and we were thrilled with the outcome of it all. We recommend Company 251 to any and all! Cheers!

Company 251 was the first and only wedding venue my partner and I looked at. We knew immediately it was what we wanted. Honestly, everything was perfect. The venue itself is stunning. Beautiful light fixtures, furniture, finishes, and accessories throughout.Gabbie was the absolute best. SO helpful and on top of every single thing. The night of, Gabbie and the entire staff went above and beyond. We received so many compliments on the venue and the food. I still have not stopped looking at our wedding photos. We wish we could relive that day all over again.

As a wedding photographer, I need to let y'all know what an absolute dream this Company 251is. Your venue sets the scene for your wedding and communicates the energy through your photos. If that's a priority for your wedding, definitely add it to the list! This space is beautiful in every direction from the getting ready suites to the dance floor. The light pouring in through the many windows is dramatic and gorgeous. To top it off, the team of folks working here are delightful. I hope to return a ton in the future!
