Store manager doesn't know the company's exchange policy. Came in to exchange, not return, EXCHANGE and was asked by the store manager if I had my receipt. I told her I didn't need a receipt to do an exchange. I'm not returning anything. She said I did and said without my receipt she could not exchange my items and I would have to pay for my purchase. "Dollar Tree allows customers to exchange items purchased in-store without the original receipt for the current scanned price." This is taken off their own website and Google. Dollar Tree needs to do better with training before promoting idiots.

Make sure to request your receipt after the approval of the transaction. I cannot stress this enough. Monitor your credit card transactions here during the pending charge phase until the charges are finalized with the credit card company. Just be cautious of this and other places like this. Make sure to get and keep your receipt! no matter what (and especially if you pay with cash/coins). And make sure the transaction says approved. Incident where cashier walked outside the store to claim something bad about a credit card transaction perhaps being rejected or declined even after the receipt issued said approved. The cashier said something maybe a mistake on cashier's part and claimed to have voided the or some other transaction?. Maybe the cashier did not know how to operate or interpret the credit card transaction even after issuing the receipt? Confusing & Suspicious. Check with your credit card company as well. Not sure if one of those skimmers could be intercepting credit card transactions using the chip. Monitor your credit card purchases as not sure if the price or charge can be adjusted during or after the transaction is pending.

The customer service is outstanding. However, the place smells like 16 Sumo wrestlers ran a half marathons inside the store or they mop the floors with armpit sweat. Other than that, everything is swell.

Lizeth was very patient when I bought a cart full of 20+ items to the register. She even offered to help me carry my bags to the car when she saw me struggling. While I was shopping, I also noticed her helping a Hispanic older lady find what she needed. More workers should strive to be as kind as her!

Jenifer is hands down the best manager this location has had ever! I’ve been in the Aurora area for over 5 years now and Jenifer has always had a positive attitude and was always super sweet, caring, and attentive whenever I needed any sort of help. Would definitely keep coming to this location for the family like environment! ?

I’ve come in here several times before but today was my last time. I don’t spend my money with rude unprofessional people. Your cashier walked off while I was asking a question told me she wasn’t available. To only walk back up and get on the register after leaving me standing with a cart full of products. Nicer than other locations. The staff were friendlier too. Shelves were well stocked and the store was clean. Only complaint is that they didn’t have a lot of Matchbox cars in stock. Overall I’d give it an B.
