If you want to bank at a place that does not make you feel like a Robot than First American Bank is the place to do it!! This bank makes you feel like George on it's a wonderful life!! Manuel is the BEST!!

Marisol Montoya the branch manager at the 3054 e New York st Aurora il location knows her customers by name and will do whatever it takes to make the customer experience the best it can be. Five stars all the way

Karin is by far the most disrespectful banker I've ever had the opportunity to interact with. Aside from speaking outside her area of expertise, she has no shame in communicating that herself nor the bank care about their clients. I would love the opportunity to speak with a branch manager or more preferably, a district manager about the interaction.

I’ve been banking with First Am Bank for almost 20 years! I love not only that they are a local bank but that they have great customer service that is accessible and prompt. My branch in Aurora has an amazing and friendly team, that goes out of their way to help. I highly recommend them!

I have had good experiences with the staff but their website is junk. Its the worst old non user friendly site i have ever been to. I fear only a few things and the occasional times I need to use this site is one of them. Hours and hours of my life wasted on the phone for their problems. PNC bank does not have these issues. I'm moving my accts back to them.

I found that the personal banker was so helpful and willing to make sure everything was understood as I began to shift from one bank to First American. My personal banker even did a follow-up a week after opening my accounts to see if I had any questions and if I was comfortable so far with the transactions. First American is very attentive to their consumers.

Horrible bank, very misleading with their monthly fees and horrible customer service. Charged me $10/month fee for two years without notifying me and said they can’t do anything about it. Spoke to the manager and she was rude. Definitely don’t recommend this bank. Please use Chase or other bank.

This is a classic if I could give it zero stars I would. Since there is no corporate posting this will have to be posted on all the individual banking areas. Had a charge that did not belong on my account. Called customer service, and let me say the one thing they do not provide is service, to try to get some help. Basically got absolutely nothing, was told it could take up to two months I had three different forms to fill out and a bunch of hoops to jump through. I think it would've been easier if they would've just told me to go screw myself and hung up the phone. I have been banking with them for over 30 years now, this is the first time I can recall having any kind of dispute on my debit card and unfortunately I realized at that point I was on my own. I would definitely recommend using a more reputable bank who supports their customers when they have an issue. I'm just glad it was not a large sum of money that would've been tied up for two months.
