This one hurts to write because I've literally been a member of Allsteel Credit Union since I was a kid. This merger has been a disaster. Their fraud-detection is so aggressive that if I do anything it locks my card down, and even when I call them to CONFIRM the orders are not fraud. They still deny the charges leading to cancelled orders for work (My clients really love waiting an extra week...) or for myself (Thanks, movies I ordered for myself are now out of stock, I look forward to paying triple on the secondary market for them.)At this point, I just can't recommend you use them. I was willing to eat it a bit, but when I call and confirm it isn't fraudulent and it's still flagged. It's just terrible service. When it was Allsteel, it was the absolute best and I had zero issues with them. Now...I think I need to find a new Credit Union.

woman who just helped me was extremely rude. I have been a member here since it was allsteel for like 17 years and my parents maybe since the 80s. In the past I'd walk in and the staff would ask how you are how the new car was how mom and dad were etc- well every person that used to work there is not Here any more and there is no more friendly faces or rapport. they need to check who they hired cause they are rude and lack any type of customer service skills. I will be taking my banking elsewhere.

Will NEVER do business with fox valley again! They have stole money from myself and my son. They failed to do their part when I made payments, tellers are completely incompetent regarding their jobs. And NO ONE knows how to return a phone call. Do not waste your time or trust with FVCU

The staff is great very nice and friendly the reason i give it 3 stars its the phone for me always have me on hold for tooo long or just hang up on me kinda makes me not want to call with any questions but other thwn that its a great bank

Liked All Steel C U. Not so sure on Fox Valley yet. Disappointed on loan request. Due to bankruptcy no wY assistance. Never asked details on why. Just trying to rebuild my credit. No working with FVCU. Too conservative I guess.

I have been a member for over two years and never should have joined them. Never in my life have I had such an unprofessional bank or credit union. They did not allow me to use my checking for the first 30 days I set-up the account. Twice I have called to raise my daily checking limit because I had a big student loan and later a car down payment to pay that day. Both times they assured me the limit had been raised only to not only get denied both occurances. Both times I was left stranded trying to get ahold of them. However, they have no after-hours services whatsoever!!! No call lines, no online chats, no way to get ahold of them at all after 6PM. If you have problem with your card, tough luck for you....honestly!! Today is the final straw. Their online banking is down and because this company doesn't feel the need to be open on President's Day and has no hotline number or anyone coming in to fix the issue, I'm left stranded and cannot access my funds or get ahold of them in any way, shape, or form. Imagine you have a bill due but because their own online banking site is so amateur that it crashes consistently and then you try to get ahold of them but they can't even provide any service to help you manage the funds you entrust with them. Complete failure of a company and it should merge with a properly managed credit union before it goes bankrupt.

This has been my bank since I was 18. The ladies working in the lobby are great and help out with all my banking needs. The lobby is open by appointment only but most services can be done through the drive through. I can do stuff online as well as in person.

Been banking here for about 4 years, but Always have the bad luck of getting an attitude from a teller by the name of Rosa, if your Hispanic don't be surprised to get discriminated! Asked to speak with a manager and they replied as though it's not much of a concern, they never call back. shame!

Dial CU joined Allsteal CU then joined Fox valley CU. Dial always took good care of me. Now with new job, I hope FVCU can help again. Haven't been disappointed yet.
