0 stars wasn't an option. This clinic is all about money. My 16 year old cat, Mikey, passed away New Years Eve night.Couldn't take him to the vet for cremation until Tuesday the 2nd.I took him in, and to my disbelief the cost was $675.00 for a 3 pound cat. I had no choice since I was on my way to work and could not carry around a dead animal for hours. When I received his ashes back, a kind note was enclosed from the crematory, Trusted Journey in Plainfield. I called them to get a price on a 3 pound cat which was $280 for a single cremation. I called Foxmoor for an explanation for the ridiculous markup and was told by Karen that they had their own extra charges like UPS and preparation of Mikey. How do you prepare a dead cat?Their outrageous greed during my vulnerable emotional state of mind is beyond cruel.I would never trust them with the care of my pet as their pricing seems to take advantage of grieving people.Karen, your response is untrue. I was there with my niece several years ago to have a cat put down. The cost of euthanasia and cremation was less than $300. Our 2 dogs were immunized several times and one of them was groomed at your clinic before you started closing on Saturdays. My review isn't alone citing your greed.I am waiting for an itemized bill to see how much you charge to prepare a dead cat and UPS charges

Worst veterinarian, the doctor is unprofessional and has a dry personality with a sour puss face and attitude! Horrible service! If you love your pets then don’t take them here, your furry buddies deserve way better

I took Sammy to Foxmoor a few weeks ago because he had some issues. Let me tell you, the staff there were incredibly friendly and really helped me keep Sammy under control. He was pretty excited, and I was concerned about him possibly biting someone as he had done elsewhere. But the staff were very patient and understanding when working with him.Dr. Feldman was great. She took the time to explain the steps they would take during the process and even shared some insights into what might be causing Sammy's problems. Throughout the whole thing, Sammy was fantastic, and they had no trouble with him at all. I was honestly quite shocked!Afterward, the doctor came out and explained what they had discovered, prescribing some medication to resolve the issues they found hopefully. I've been to several clinics over the years but have yet to find one that felt as personalized and attentive as Foxmoor. It was like they treated Sammy as if he was their only patient.Since our visit, Sammy seems like a completely different dog, and I'm genuinely looking forward to a long-term relationship with Foxmoor. Finding a place that takes such good care of him and makes us feel so welcome is refreshing.David

This clinic does a great job with caring for our Goberian, Bailey. They handle her gently and always offer suggestions and recommendations. I also appreciate the courtesy reminder text when it’s time for health check ups or grooming.

Absolutely love the Doctors and Staff here! I love the family feel I get from Foxmoor! They are all so thorough and knowledgeable from the receptionist to the techs and Doctors. I can ask all the questions and they answer every single one without hesitation. My Fur Babies love coming in. My Westie gets really anxious for grooming but the groomer, Keely, always makes her feel so comfortable and ensures that she is in a safe place. My other dog is a rescue and he loves seeing the staff, they always make him feel so special and spoiled with attention. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Feldman and Dr. D Jacobsen to anyone, I trust they have my Fur Babies best interest in mind and treat them as their own. :)

I took our two dogs in for their annual checkup & vaccines & the female vet took each dog individually out of the exam room to perform the checkups in the back. BIG RED FLAG! I now know to never let a vet do that again. I have no idea what was supposedly checked, but they must not have checked the one dogs eyes because she had cataracts & they never mentioned it! Previously, a male vet was to have performed an annual check up on one of our cats & he never even looked in her ears! This clinic does not hire good, caring vets to take care of peoples' fur babies. They should be ashamed.

I should have wrote this review awhile ago but better late than never right?! I can’t really speak to much on the doctor (the actual vet) because I didn’t really have any real interactions with him or her. I think only maybe 1 time and it was “ok” I will say this Foxmoor likes to charge you for every little thing which is quite exhausting and petty to me! I took my dog there and the first thing that they do is weigh your pet. My dog is a small breed and his breed is even popular with a lot of celebs. This lady Diane was acting as if she didn’t want to pick him up because he was being playful which is one of his breed’s characteristics. I’m just standing their looking at her like…. are you kidding me? why are you working around animals? this is apart of your job! So, I waited until no clients was in the waiting area because I didn’t want her nor the company to feel like I’m trying to front their business off but she (Diane ) didn’t appreciate that and got very nasty with me! Please keep in mind that I just don’t argue because life is too short! But she was trying to get one from me! I’m pleased to say that “ she did not!” A couple of days later I received a call from Foxmoor’s female manager which I don’t remember her name but it’s in other reviews on their website. I would have to say that she was just as nasty! Of course I decided not to ever bring my dog there again! My dog goes to a very nice veterinary clinic (Sunshine) everyone there on up to the veterinarian is extremely friendly! Hope this review helps your decision on where to take your pet! 7-25-23 Do you guys see the response from the owner! I’m laughing so hard it’s uncontrollable!! Why would I want to call and speak to Karen (manager) when I clearly stated in my original post that she was nasty towards me! I won’t give her a second chance to do it again. As far as my dog’s receptivity it was the manager that stated “ oh we know him like the back of our hands” No, you guys don’t because if you did then Diane would have picked him up to weigh him! I’m not going to respond to anymore of this nonsense. I just would refrain from taking your pet to this clinic and go to Sunshine as I stated in my original post!

Dr. Jacobsen took amazing care of my cat! Had concern with his eyes, she gave one medication and it cleared up! The staff was nice too, I asked a million questions and Uritzi answered all of them! Been coming here for years and really recommend!

They reported my cat to the county for not having the rabie shot up to date. ISSUE::: They have reported my mother in law which has never owned the cat or has been listed on any paperwork. My cats name is incorrect, and I don't even live in the county. Why they have her information beats me. Now I have to take a day off of work to go to court. Terrible. I have so many questions but no answers from the staff. The county stated that the clinic has messed up several pets.

Update on 5-star review from last year: go here if you crave the emotional toxicity of your worst Ex because that’s what you’ll be greeted with at the front desk. The mismanager there (name: karen) is combative and literally abusive to humans, thank goodness she doesn’t deal directly with pets but she still compromises their care by her inability or unwillingness to read their own in-house vet reports. Then when you approach her about one of these many issues (or the shady out-of-state prescription company they now partner with) she gaslights you and blows up, blaming you instead of demonstrating any accountability. It’s a waste of time, energy, patience and money and to such an alarming degree it’d be laughable if it weren’t so consequential.I’m taking my 2 cats to oswego vet (Dr Sullivan was our fav and he left here too) and my mom is switching her cat and 2 dogs there as well. Looking at other reviews here and the passive-aggressive (or just aggressive!) responses wherein Karen never apologizes for anything nor takes any responsibility, it’s little wonder Foxmoor went from a 5-star review just last year to losing 5 more clients between just me and the 1 person I previously recommended here years ago. But it’s not just me cause others have abandoned this place like the sinking ship it is so at least if you must go here, you’ll have no trouble getting an appointment. Maybe the 1 vet that remains is competent and compassionate but you’d never know that from the front desk person who is literally a customer repellent by harassing and verbally abusing the customers….Not sustainable business practices to say the least. Used to love this place but it’s now just a perfect candidate for a case study in how to drive a business right off a proverbial cliff. They fail to provide answers instead gaslighting and abusing you, and avoiding phone calls. She’s more likely to take the time to construct a super defensive combative reply to this where she blames us all while throwing up some false self gratifying claims of what an upstanding person she is and what unparalleled business they provide. We’re so done here, my 2 cats and my moms dogs are taking their many years of future business $$$ elsewhere.
