Who ever that guy behind the counter is just actually treated me like I am the most worthless person on earth, I love gamers world but this guy just ruined my whole experience of years at this place on multiple occasions, each one worse than the one before

Every experience I’ve had at this store has been unpleasant so I think I’m done giving it a chance every time I’m in the mall. I can’t ask a question without making the guy behind the counter look inconvenienced, and when I asked if they carried a specific game (they didn’t) I was met with responses like “I have no idea what that is” and “yeah I don’t have it, what even is that”. Such a rude and condescending way to speak to your customer base. The selection is ok but there are so many shops in the Chicagoland area with comparable selections that you might as well skip this store if this is how they treat walk in customers.

Best card shop around as far as im concerned. Also like that i can just chill there with friends playing card games. Plus really friendly employees as far as ive seen. Will come back for more one piece packs!

Love this place for buying Pokemon and Yugioh cards. In my experience, this store has always been very neat and organized and fun to look through. :D
I’ve been going to this location for a while, but today I went in while Sergio was at the front, and I had to leave a review because his customer service was excellent and made my shopping experience awesome! :)

Friday Night Magic here was loads of fun, and I will miss the people there. The casual (and very fun) tournament starts at 7:30PM every Friday! Even if you are a new player like I was several years ago - have no fear, the people there are incredibly kind and helpful! Aside from that, the staff is incredible: kind, helpful, and friendly! The card selection is spectacular with incredible prices! Definitely swing by Gamers World at Fox Valley Mall while you're there... and maybe stick around for a game or two!

Staff working there are wonderful. Plenty of inventory and selection of cards. Well kept and clean environment and staff always answer questions and help in a timely manner. Absolutely would recommend this store for anyone looking for magic, heroclix, lorcana, and pokemon!

Guy working extremely rude , had Sandals on with socks.1/14/2023 more focused on his phone than customers. The single cards for purchase extremely over priced.
Zero I mean zero selection not sure how it’s even a store.
Expect it to be closed next time I come back to the mall.

8/26/23 around 11:30AM. Decent selection of games, and a few I havemt seen in person. Felt like they were gouging Lorcana prices. Only shop I found with Lorcana in stock. But at almost 2x MSRP what do you expect. Immediate buyers remorse for overpaying for the game, that hits big box store in less than a week. But that's on me. Wouldn't feel as bad if I felt like it was at least supporting a store that made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. I don't think anyone said anything to me until I checked out, and even then the guy at the register couldn't look away from the computer long enough to make eye contact let alone small talk. Hope it was just an off day. I was in from out of town, but do not think I would return again.

Cute shop. Good variety of games and trading card product. They either are or will soon be up to 28 seats for gaming. Friendly staff. Clean store. Temperature is great. It smells just fine (gaming stores do not always smell fine). The mall food court is nearby so it's easy to grab a quick snack between games.
