Jewel-Osco is a grocery store that offers a wide range of services and products. The store features a full-service pharmacy for immunizations and prescriptions, a bakery with custom cakes and cupcakes, and a deli with party trays and an online Order Ahead service. The butcher block provides an assortment of meat, seafood, and sushi trays, while the produce department is well-stocked. Many staff members are noted as friendly and helpful, with specific praise for the floral department and a self-checkout cashier. The store provides Grocery Delivery and DriveUp & Go™ for convenience.
Customer experiences with staff vary. While most employees are friendly and some go the extra mile, one particular front-end employee has been reported by a customer for publicly accusing their children of not scanning items, causing embarrassment. This incident significantly impacted that customer's rating. Shoppers appreciate good sales, like those on turkey, and recommend using the store's UDEALS app for savings. Overall, it is a place for groceries, pharmacy needs, and special orders, though individual experiences with certain staff can differ.
Always a great place to shop! The prices are excellent, the products are good quality, and the customer service is even better. It is nice to find a store that offers great value while still providing a pleasant shopping experience. Definitely worth coming back to.
