I am a former employee and been shopping here for years. I left my card at home, so I FaceTime my hubby to show my card and ID matched to have them ring me up at customer service like it's been done before and she still refused to do it. Saying she needed the card to be physically there to type it in because I could be using fraud. Even though my name was the same on my ID and the card. I asked to see why in the company handbook to see that this was meijer policy and no one showed me. So, I had to drive all the way back home in the snow to grab my card and repurchase my items. I was extremely upset because this made me late for a reservation and plus I spend 1000s of dollars at meijer on a monthly basis. I feel like if it was someone else they would have accommodated me when I showed my ID matched my card because several employees have done it before and it wasn't a issue.

I’ll be boycotting Meijer. Purchasing from them will just continue to keep corporate money in politics. This is their rating from Goods Unite Us. Their campaign finance reform score is horrible.

Visited this store while staying with my daughter in Naperville. I shop at Publix in FL and Meijers was even better than Publix! Meats, Vegetables, bakery all high quality and clean well stocked and maintained AND the bonus of non food items reasonably priced. LOVE this store. Wish I had one close to me in FL

Today I was searching for a product. For whatever reason I could not think of the name of it. Described it to a associate I believe her name is Pari. She looked up the item , and showed me exactly where it was. I honestly would not of thought to look by the hangers , was searching in the cleaning aisle. Damprid was the thing. I really appreciated her help.

Rude associates and poor restocking. You'll never actually be able to get everything on your list. Item are handled poorly so by the time you get home it's never a surprise which boxed items are damaged upon opening. This is the kind of poor quality I expect from Walmart but not here. Sad.

If you like making multiple trips for one item because they never restock, then this is the store for you. Not only that but items which they have a surplus of will take up empty spaces where they don't belong, so they don't reorder the items they actually need. Bakery area is the worst I've seen in any meijer. Associates will get in your way to shuffle donuts around, even after you stand there for several minutes making it clear you're waiting for them to get out of the way. Zero customer service. Not to mention you'll need to arrive at 7am just to get any decent donuts as they're always sold out by 11am. Lastly, their donut boxes have broke multiple times just by picking them up. Making them out of tissue paper would be more reliable. Do better meijer, that name used to mean quality. Now I'm associating it with lazy workers and poor practices.

Meijer consistently has better produce and more grocery products than either Walmart or Target. The store I go to is also cleaner, products on the shelves are in order, and the employees are friendlier. I’m lucky to live in a suburban area where all three stores are an option, and given the opportunity, I will always choose to shop at Meijer over the others.

Meijer is a favorite. Has just about everything you want. It’s always clean, you can always find everything quick.
Today’s visit was for coffee. All kinds of brands are featured. Prices are normal. For us coffee drinkers, that’s a plus!
