Zero stars here. Waited in line too long someone else behind me walk out because he was not gonna wait. Cashier number 1 rang us up, but there was another worker there a young girl by the wall registers acting busy and trying to fix some rack of clothes but was really doing nothing but shuffling the clothes. she kept side eyeing because she knew she could jump on the register but didn’t want to. The alarms are always going off here. store is not really good if you have audio sensitivity.

Bought a blanket in the store they did not take the security tag off, came back so they could take it off and they refused to take the tag off

I really like this Ross location. Unlike some of the comments in other reviews, I've found the staff friendly & pretty helpful taking into consideration how busy this location is most of the time. Like any discount store, sometimes you find things to buy & sometimes you don't. I've had great luck most of the time. Things on shelves can often be in a jumble but that's on the clientele. The staff does their best to keep reorganizing but people can be jerks & cavalier about the mess they're making &/or leaving behind.

This is the sometimes i go because of my 3 month visit gap since i hardly go there,found something and left becausebecauses a teenage boy was setting all the antitheft alarms on the shoes off

I stood in line for about 10-15 minutes to make a return. I understand staff Can get overwhelmed on rush hours but for a manager to lose her cool from asking a simple question seems a bit much. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me. As I was heading out, I asked another associate and found out that her name is Gina. Poor attitude from a manager. I’m sorry some items don’t have prices?

Need more product in this store. It took a while before the manager came up to help a customer which then backed up the line. Yes, I would shop here again.

Update: 7/19/23 for the N. Lake St. Aurora, Il location1st off: I love shopping at this location, however, today was not the day.I and another customer were standing in line waiting to be helped. A young lady, either teen or very early 20's, was helping another young lady at register 6. After she completed the transaction, I waited to be called up. The cashier walked away & began putting away hangers(?) until the customer she had just helped, returned because the alarm went off. She removed the security tag, the customer walked away and I still waited to be called. After 3 seconds, I began to walk towards register 6. Immediately, the cashier looked up and said a little sternly, "I'm not open. I'm closed." I responded, " Oh, you aren't? Then who's open?" No response. She put her head down and began gathering hangers. I asked again, "Who's open?" Still no response.An older woman, with her hair parted in the middle, wearing a bun or ponytail, working in the same area said, although not making eye contact, said, "She's open over there but she's helping someone." I looked around and asked, "Who? Where?" She said it again, then looked in the direction towards register 1 that was behind me. I saw that cashier bent to the floor helping a woman look at jewelry. I walked back in line. I grew a little perturbed because customer service was lacking quite a bit, which was unusual for this store. I took out my phone and took pictures of both registers so I could remember the numbers.Finally, register 1 was ready to assist me. I noticed the delay in returning my receipt and just then another young lady walked up to the register and furtively said after being asked "What?" by the cashier, "I heard someone was taking pictures?"I just looked at her and the cashier at register 1. I didn't approve of the mind game because we both knew she was there about me.She repeated herself. I spoke up and said I had, no one was in it & it was for reference. I then took my receipts and walked out. Now, if interaction with me had been as quick as it was, when those females assumed I had taken their pictures, this review wouldn't be done. What has happened to customer service?Now, in the past, I have witnessed cashiers involved in each others's conversations while I was at the register and on the merchandise floor but not to the extent of being blatantly ignored when I asked an innocent and polite question. Well, sorry to say, this location will not see my money for a very long time, if ever again. Maybe they don't care. I do, sorry to say. Thank you for reading. I'm sorry it was so long.
