SACM!!! I got slapped with a $35 bill for some Retinol image nonsense. The associate conveniently forgot to mention that insurance won't cover it or bother asking if I wanted to skip it. I only found out about the surprise bill after the exam. I hope I can give ZERO star. Also, I didn't even request or authorize a contact lens test, and they just went ahead and did it. They slapped me with a $50 charge for it. This is an absolute rip-off! The cashier lady's attitude is absolutely terrible.

Had an appointment scheduled for 4pm. Arrived at 3:45pm for appointment. Fox Valley Mall is under construction, building apartment complexs around the outer area of mall. Parking is at a premium. Could not find parking on the upper level near store. Had to drive around to other side of mall to find parking. Took 20 minutes to find parking and walk to the other side. Walked in at 4:05 and was told I had to reschedule. I told the girl about the parking situation and she said it wasn't her problem, I should have arrived sooner. Told her I arrived at 3:45 for 4pm appointment and she again said I needed to reschedule. Even if it was my fault, businesses usually give 10-15 grace period, not just 5 minutes. Went to LensCrafters on the other side of the mall and made an appointment there. VisionWorks customer service has been going down hill over the last several years. You can see this by other reviews as well. The staff is negative, hostile, and not customer friendly. There was no one else in the store waiting for an appointment at the time of my appointment. The last time I had an appointment, they ordered the wrong prescription for me. I started ordering through 1-800 Contacts, but thought I would give them another try. The doctors are great but their staff needs training.

My appointment has been cancelled even without informing me. My appointment was rescheduled twice even without informing me, though i plan and schedule almost weeks before. Don't like the scheduling service at this location. Need to rethink of going to this location.

Booked appointment online and they called to schedule another appointment in a timely manner as doctor wouldn’t be in during my initial appointment. Got there and yet doctor was very knowledgeable and patient with me and all questions asked. Front staff were courteous and helpful as well. In and out I would recommend making an appointment as soon as they open as no one was there and I was taken care of rather quickly.

Went to get a prescription but I had a unplesant experience with one of the workers. The short blonde lady with the piercing in her face. As a result on how unprofessional she was, I decided to purchase my glasses online. Avoid this place at all cost.

Dr. Shukla was great! I'm so glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews. I needed a routine eye exam but I also had some weird pain on my upper eye lid and a dust particle stuck on my pupil. Dr. Shukla took time to explain everything to me and went above and beyond to flip my eye lid and gently remove the dust particle without scratching my eye. I'm incredibly grateful and will absolutely return to this Visionworks! The staff in the office were also kind and welcoming. The office was clean and I have zero complaints!

Everything was perfect quick fast I really liked it the only improvement I would suggest is to make sure that the lenses when doing the actual eye exam are clean with no smudges while doing my exam I noticed the lenses were smudged and maybe it negatively affected my exam

Wonderful experience!! I’ve been going here for years and the new management and staff is truly an upgrade! When i went it was packed but as soon as i had one on one with a staff member they were able to go in depth with me over my benefits. Will be coming back!!

Great experience, knowledgeable, professional and welcoming staff helped us make the best choice of options and selections of our prescription eye glasses. Overall a good experience and we felt it was worth spending our time and getting what we needed.

I went to Vision Works for eye exam and glasses and had the most efficient and thorough experience. I was greeted right away by Julien, preliminary screening by Freddie, exam with Dr Singh and then to top off a great experience, Maja fixed my old glasses which Pearl Vision sold me but they never could fix the loose screw! If you want an easy and affordable eye exam and glasses, definitely go here! Kudos to this team for a customer focused experience.

Showed up to an eye exam appointment and the receptionist tells me the dr didn’t show up today. She then tells me that the patient is “a year out” since his last appointment. And then i told her how can that be? Hes never even had an eye exam. This is very bad business. They didn’t even notify me that the dr wasn’t there. The girl says “not my fault, nothing i can do” and she was so rude and you could tell that she could care less, she made it very clear when i told her i was going to reach out to management, she said “please do” like what?She had horrible customer service. Please train them better because as someone who works in customer service this is really bad service you all give.
