I went to CVS to get a vaccination. Everything was prompt. The pharmacist was very courteous and attentive. Everything was done in a truly professional way.

Horrible CVS l! There is only one person who works here at a time apparently and I needed to purchase Covid tests that are only behind the counter so I needed an associate to help me. And I had to hunt her down but she was purchasing personal items from the pharmacy. I hate this store so much and now I definitely won’t be ever coming back.

Pharmacy manager took it upon herself to publicly ask me why I expedited a medicine (which is restricted, but was within the legal refill time frame).I told her 1.) I was almost out and 2.) I am out of town for the next 3 days.Mind you..this is Day 29 of my original prescription. 1 day early…She then accused me of having a drug problem because I wanted to pick up my prescription at my convenience.Absolutely the most embarrassing and humiliating experience of my life.I hope that Cruz (the store manager) realizes that his employees are traumatizing their customers.Of course, he was not in when I needed to talk to him…I’ll transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy. No one should ever have to experience and inquiry about their own personal life schedule.

This is an update as of September, 2022. In my previous review, I gave this store a rating of 3; and I scored it that high only because of the excellent pharmacist and staff. I am delighted to say I can now give it a 5 star rating! There is a new store manager who has re-instituted the outstanding service I had come to expect from my CVS. Customers may once again experience its exceptionally warm, friendly, welcoming staff; as well as an appealing, well maintained store that offers an excellent array of well stocked product lines, with frequent promotions.The new manager has also created new, attractive displays of products that are likely to appeal to customers.I notice some disparaging reviews of the pharmacy, itself. I have always found the pharmacists and their staff to be friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. My prescriptions are always ready on time, as promised; and they will work on my behalf to sort out any problems with my doctor. My family and I have never experienced any difficulty scheduling flu and Covid vaccinations. Hence, I am happy to give this CVS my highest rating!Previous Review: (3 Stars)I have been a loyal customer of this store since it opened. Until VERY recently I have loved shopping there and recommended it to family and friends. The thing I most appreciated about it was its warm, friendly, welcoming staff, and exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, there has been enormous staff turnover and the appointment of new manager who is very rude and refuses to check customers out at the register. The one remaining bright spot is the excellent pharmacist and her dwindling staff -- who continue provide the outstanding service. Henceforth, I am only using the pharmacy. I am sadly taking my shopping elsewhere.

I have had MANY issues with Ilona, and today was the final straw. She is the WORST human to deal with, so dismissive and severely lacks the ability to have any compassion nor is she able to have a proper conversation respectfully. I am severely disappointed. Shame on CVS and the awful humans they hire there.

Do not go to this Minute Clinic.The Nurse Practitioner doesn’t know what she’s doing. I came in here recently because my gut told me I had a sinus infection. I get them annually and I know what they feel like. The NP misdiagnosed it as a common cold. After two long weeks of taking congestion meds and DayQuil/NyQuil, I went to go see an Allergy & Sinus specialist. Well guess freakin what? Turns out I do have a sinus infection. I got put on antibiotics that same day. The NP at this CVS not only set my health and livelihood back two weeks, but I was also unnecessarily taking cold meds as well. What a complete waste. Don’t even bother.

I have been a loyal customer of this store since it first opened. Until recently, I have been DELIGHTED with my customer experiences -- the staff ALWAYS offered warm,friendly greetings, and were exceptionally helpful. I have, over the years, highly recommended this store to my family and all of my friends in the Barrington community. Until very recently, I generally shopped there at least 4 days a week. Recently, the store has experienced massive turnover, including the Manager. The new Manager is rude and refuses to check anyone out at the register -- making an embarrassing scene, if necessary. The few employees -- with the exception of the Pharmacist and her staff (who are marvelous), the Concierge (who is marvelous) and one employee (Suzanne) who is very helpful -- seem angry and very demoralised. Unless things change, I do not intend to shop here any more, aside from prescriptions from the Pharmacy.

I called the store asking if they carried gait belts. The guy I spoke to wasn't sure so he went to check and told me they did. I ended the call before he could ask if I wanted him to hold it for me. I arrived to the store with within an hour of the phone call and went looking for the belt but couldn't find it so I found an employee, who turned out to be the one I had talked to. Without me asking him to do so, he took the initiative to pull the product from the shelf to hold it for me, not even knowing if I were going to show up or not. Very grateful! Thank you!

Store manager was very helpful with sharing when free masks would be available. He explained when they would have them in and other CVS stores that already had the free masks.

Dina in the MinuteClinic went out of her way to squeeze me in, without an appointment, when I was in a jam and needed a quick Covid Test. She was pleasant and professional. I’m very grateful.
