Rasa in the Flower Dept is awesome!! With short notice & somewhat odd color choices she made flower arrangements for a shower that were the rave of the party! She came highly recommended to me from several friends in the area & I can't agree more. Thanks Rasa!!

Overall good selection but I am docking it two stars as they are ALWAYS short handed when it comes to cashiers unlike even other Jewel stores or Heinens.

So, while the state is opening up, there are many of us at high risk if we get covid-19 and on limited incomes. What does Osco in its wisdom decide? As of June 1,2020 they are charging $8 to deliver prescriptions. This is greedy and ridiculous. I do not want to have to enter a grocery and put myself at risk to get my medications and I cannot afford repeated $8 charges since my meds refill monthly and at different times of the month. Thus, it will be BYE BYE OSCO and hello Walgreens with their drive thru window. No charge there, no exposures, no covid-19.

I decided to give this Jewel a try during the Pandemic to see if it was more hygienic than the one in Buffalo Grove. Kudos for the abundance of sanitizing wipes to wipe down your cart. However, I had such a bad experience at the deli counter. After placing my order for cheese, the man working the counter put the wrapped cheese right up to his nose and said it smelled good. Even though he was wearing a mask and the cheese didn't make contact with his masked face, his action made me extremely uncomfortable. I was flabbergasted and speechless to say the least. Why an employee working at a food counter do something so disgusting is beyond me. Pandemic or not, it is just plain gross and unsanitary. I don't know if he was being an obnoxious a--hole or if he was just stupid. Either way, I don't think I'll be visiting this location any longer. I should have spoken to a manager, but I guess I just didn't want to get this idiot into trouble. I ended up leaving the cheese with the cashier and told her I had changed my mind. What an experience. I honestly thought Barrington had more class.

The pharmacists at the Barrington, IL store are second to none! They always go above and beyond to help. Recently because of Covid-19 I was advised that we could have our prescriptions delivered. Since we are in the high risk category we decided to take advantage of this. Our med’s were delivered today. I had left a note for the delivery person to leave the medication outside. Above that note was a envelope with tip $. The envelope said *OSCO DELIVERY PERSON*. The driver did not accept the tip! I find this such a generous spirit!! I really hope the pharmacists and delivery driver get recognition during these stressful times! Thank you!!

This is a great Jewel in down town Barrington until I saw a couple with their little doggie in front of me at the checkout.. NO!!! I don't want to do my grocery shopping with your dog.. Please stop your inconsiderate ways of having your poochie in your arms or climbing on you while in the deli.. leave your doggie at home. Lost that loving feeling for the Jewel.

This place has gone downhill in a hurry. Let's start with the deli department can't slice meat to save there life. Told the lady what I wanted and didn't get it and the slices are so thick it's a joke told them thin but apparently they stopped listening to the customer. The bread they normally have on the shelf was not there also none in the back either. The milk I purchased had expired already not to mention that the employees responsibility is to pull expired product from the shelf's, but this is not getting done either. So based on this I don't plan to return to pay good money for bad product and horrible customer service.

I highly recommend the floral department for your next event! I couldn't be more pleased and impressed by the floral team at the Barrington Jewel! Thank you for making such incredible arrangements for my sisters shower! I will definitely be using them again! Special thanks to Cheryl for making everything so lovely!

This Jewel is neat, organized, and pleasant, with ample parking. I tend to visit in the mornings when, unfortunately, there aren't very many cashier lanes open. Expect to wait in line a bit, depending on how busy it is.

Disgrace. Disgusted. Sums up how I feel. Product from 2016?!?! You actually leave this on the shelves? You could at least cover yourselves and attempt to pull the rotten product off the shelves.

Bummed that they removed the self-checkout. One of the only reasons I ever went to this Jewel. It's overpriced and understaffed.
