Denise has been my hair stylist for almost 19 years. I always leave happy after my visits to the salon. Denise is great with the essential skills needed to be a hairstylist, cut and color. When my daughter was about 17 and decided she was bored with her beautiful dark honey blonde hair and wanted to try going platinum blonde, with a kit at home....it didn't go well. She was truly despondent. I told her we'd go to my friend Denise, she's GREAT with color. It took all afternoon, but Denise knew what to do and when we left, my daughter's hair looked absolutely beautiful. My daughter was SO happy. I was "mother of the bride" last June but the wedding wasn't local, it was near Kansas City. I thought what am I going to do without Denise to make my hair perfect? We started a few months before the wedding, working on color and highlights primarily and then the perfect cut. I went in about a week before leaving for KC for touch ups and tips on how to style my hair myself. Most weddings have something that doesn't "go right", but not my hair. It was perfect. If you're new to town, or just want a different look, make an appointment with Denise. You'll love how you look and Denise will be one of your new favorite people.

I've always received a perfect manicure from Susie, and a perfect pedicure from Kathy. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness of everyone in the salon. I've recommended The Main Place to many friends over the years. I have been a loyal client since 1992 and will continue to patronize this salon.

This is the most comfortable and friendly salons I have ever been in! It is comfortable and has a sanctuary like feel due to The Victorian homes that the salon has been built in. Susie and Enya do amazing nails (I have been going to Susie for over 15 years, and cannot be happier!). Each of the stylists are independent contractors. I have used several of them, and have always been very pleased. Miran is who I have been steadily going to for the past several years. Each haircut is precision. She listens to what I want, makes suggestions when needed or wanted.... I plan to continue having my nails and hair done at The Main Place for as long as I can imagine!
