CAUTiON- DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICE!! Bought a $57k BMW X5 about three months ago. During the transaction, I agreed to purchase an additional warranty offered by First Mile with the stated (verbatim) understanding from the salesman (Angel Rivera) that I would personally be issued a prorated refund at anytime I decide to cancel any unused portion of the warranty (specific statement by the salesman). The warranty was added to the final purchase price ($5,600) of my vehicle purchase. Upon leaving the dealership, I realized I did not need the warranty and requested (on the same day of my transaction) the salesman remove or cancel the warranty. On the next business day, he told me my loan was already funded (10 hrs later, banks were closed) and that my refund would be sent back to the bank who funded my loan and it would not reduce my payment. That term was not discussed at all, is not stated in the First Mile contract, and was a deliberate lie stated by the salesman. I believe it was a deliberate and deceptive business practice perpetrated by the salesman and his managing staff. The salesman lied to me and my wife to make a quick buck and his manager had absolute knowledge of this dispute after the fact (copied in every email correspondence). Nobody at Motorwerks ever reached out to me or to my my wife to explain their position or take responsibility for either the salesman mistake or a deliberate and deceptive business practice. What reasonable people would ever agree to that kind of term? A Complaint is filed with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office - Consumer Fraud Division. Motorwerks BMW, multi-million dollar company taking advantage of a working famiiy with two small children, great optics - Bravo! Congratulations Motorwerks, you made your margin on the aftermarket warranty but lost a customer for life and at what cost? Shame on you. Just bought another X5 from Laurel BMW of Westmont. A business with integrity and professionalism!! I highly recommend Laurel BMW of Westmont for a trusting experience.

I recommend Motor Werks of Barrington for anyone in the market for a new vehicle. Our recent purchase of a BMW there was seamless, thanks to client advisors Dennis Wagner and Sean Caffe. Furthermore, GM Terry Kioutas' knowledge serves as a testament to his work ethic, positioning him as an exemplary leader within the industry.Company earns the MorphEasy® award. An award that recognizes companies that put purpose before profit.? this review if you found it helpful

We are a military family and purchased our used vehicle at Motor Werks in the summer of 2023. We did not purchase an extended warranty due to the positive reviews of other used cars purchased at Motor Werks. Come January 2024, the transmission stopped working. We are now looking at a cost between 3k-8k to fix the car we purchased 6 months ago. Our car was 'inspected' and given a full 'bill of health' by Motor Werks when we purchased our car. We had ZERO reason to think 6 months later we would be having such a massive bill that is crippling to our family. We called Motor Werks to speak to the man who sold us our car, his name is Frank. Not only was Frank condescending, he refused to help us in any way. He told us if we had bought the warranty, they would have fixed the car, but since we didn't purchase one--despite the fact we had only bought the car 6 MONTHS AGO--they would not help us. We are shocked and disgusted by their lack of professionalism, absence of contrition, and refusal to help us in any way, shape, or form.Motor Werks sold us a faulty vehicle and they knew it. They took full advantage of a military family and should be ashamed of themselves.

Buyer Beware. Read the fine print & know your consumer rights and Uniform Commercial Codes which are immensely violated within this organization. Do your due diligence to protect your private information and not be a victim of fraud.

Stay away, stay far far away!!!! What a scam and poorly run buisness this is. First of all they scam everyone by forcing you to pay $1300 for a “ceramic coating” but they won’t show you any proof that they actually apply anything. It’s not optional, they say that “their clients tend to prefer it”. Prefer what? Getting scammed by fraudulent buisness practices? And the $1300 is more then double what it would actually cost if you wanted to get it. I see no proof of any ceramic coating ever being applied. FRAUD!!!Then they sent me the car with temp plates good for 90 days. I received the car on Oct 23, the emissions on that day. They also told me they could not do an oil change on the car, and they wanted me to get it done myself and they would send me a check to reimburse. I also got the oil change done on Oct 23. I sent them the emission and reciept for the oil change I had to pay for and they had eveything they needed to complete the transactionOn Nov 25th (over a month later, what were they doing for 30days? The paperwork just sat on someone desk) they told me they couldn’t process anything as I needed to mail them my origional emission document even though the stage of GA has a digital database to verify all transactions like this. I didn’t not save my emissions document as I had no reason to, so I had to go back and get another copy. I did and I physically mailed them back the origional on December 5th.I also had repeated requests to speak to a manager as I was getting concerned that I would not get a liscense plate in time because they showed no sense of dilligence or urgency in getting anything handled in a timely or professional manner. No one has ever called me to discuss. Then on December 15th they told me they needed another document from my insurance company to process both my reimbursement check and my liscense plate. Now this was 2 months since I bought the car. Again, what took so long to ask me for documents that I needed to compete the transaction. So I got the insurance form and provided that to them.On December 20th they had eveything and said they were mailing the check. It is now Jan 11, my temp tag has expired, I still have not seen the check. I have asked over 10times to have a manager call me. When I call to speak to someone they tell me eveyone to a busy and they can not talk right now. They take a message and never call me back.So I still have no reimbursement check and my temp tag has expired. I now have to drive around with no tag or Uber everywhere untill my tag arrives.By far the worst car buying experience I have ever encountered. I recommended staying away from this place and finding someone else to purchase a car from

STAY AWAY unless you like being lied to. EMILY failed to follow up on several issues for a potential purchase. She lied to me and just ignored my efforts to follow up. BAD NEWS. If you can't get them to follow up PRE PURCHASE imagine how you would be treated AFTERWARDS

If you are looking for a reliable Porsche Service Dept. and dealer, look no further than Motor Werks Porsche Barrington. I recently took my 2017 Porsche Macan S (CPO) in for a 3rd opinion on a front right end suspension issue. After being essentially turned away from other Porsche Dealers (who confirmed the issue but stated they "could not" fix it under CPO), Jason Nuzzo, Manager Marco and Technician Mike, took excellent care of me immediately. I received a full video on the explanation of the problem, and how they would address it. Jason remained in constant communication with me, and was patient with my requests/schedule. I won't be bringing my Macan S any where else, and will certainly be shopping for my 911 through Barrington. Please bring your Porsche here with confidence. Merry Christmas. - Joe K.
