My husband and I purchased a 2023 GLE 63 Mercedes from Barrington Motor Werks. We live in California and didn't have much luck finding the car we wanted let alone coming across a sales person that was willing to help us find one. We went to three different dealerships and barely got any returned emails or phone calls from any of them. We even have a Mercedes dealership 2 miles from our home. Even that dealership did not follow up after the first couple of txt messages. With that disappointment we ended up doing our own research. In our search for the car we wanted we came across Barrington Motor Werks. We reached out to them and they got back to us right away. They ended up having the car we wanted. Brian Martin was the sales person that helped us with our purchase. Brian was very responsive in answering any and all of our questions. Excellent follow up from beginning to end. Brian even sent us a video of the car inside and out just as we requested. Brian made the car buying process as easy as possible, especially for being out of state customers. We could not be happier with our purchase, and the excellent customer service we received. We would definitely recommend Barrington Motor Werks to everyone! Thanks again Brian!

I purchased a car from this dealership in October 2021. In November of 2021, I had a flat tire on the left rear tire that required tire replacement. In September 2022, I brought my car in for "A" service and was charged $50 for tire rotation. At least the bill shows I paid $50 to have the tires rotated.The date codes on the tires indicate something else. Had my car to another dealer recently and was told my rear tires would need replacement soon. They indicated that rear tires on the GLE 450 often needed replacement prior to the front tires.How do you trust a dealer that claims they rotated the tires in September 2022 when you find the newest tire of the 4 is the left rear manufactured the 35th week of 2021 and the other 3 were manufactured in 2020? I find it very hard to believe my tires were rotated. If they had been then one with date code 35/21 should have been on the front.

I'm only writing a review because I saw some Karen write what I would assume is a fraudulent review. My main man Scott in Sales hooked me up with a beautiful car last year. I live 2 hours away and am getting service tomorrow and had to use the GPS. That's the only reason I saw that bad review. Mercedes of Barrington has super nice staff. When I bought my car they helped me understand all the quirks it could do. They are informed. I had a middle aged woman teach me, a 20 year old kid how to do all the fancy tech stuff. Don't listen to Karen's. You walk in Mercedes of Barrington you'll be greeted with friendly staff, they'll get you a coffee or whatever you need, and you'll walk out with a car everyone stares at when you pass them. I love Mercedes of Barrington. Don't be fooled!

To say our experience at Mercedes was disappointing is an understatement. We called ahead and made an appointment with Brian. Brian met us and sat us down at an empty table. After about 20 mins of waiting, someone else came over and said he would help us and guided us over to his desk. He looked up the car we wanted to see and then promptly walked away without saying anything. We sat there for 20 more minutes waiting and he never came back. We decided to get up and leave after 40 mins of waiting with no assistance. Why would anyone want to do business with a company that lacks basic social skills and manners. Even a simple, I am going to pull up the car for you would have sufficed. We will never be going back there again. It's clear that you have to be a "certain type of person" to get service here. They get one star for having a standing building and breathing humans inside.

I worked with Scott Sables to purchase my BMW. He was very helpful in finding the exact vehicle I was looking for. He made my whole car buying experience easy and wasn't pushing me to buy something I didn't love. When my vehicle had arrived from transit, he notified me right away and was as excited as I was. He made me feel welcomed and treated me as a friend. I am definitely looking forward to purchasing more vehicles from him in the future. Thanks Scott.

Horrible! I purchased a used Toyota Tundra and we agreed they would address issues prior to delivery. We agreed they would touch up the paint on the bed where the tonneau cover rubbed the paint off. Their first attempt looked like they hire a kid and gave him a paint stick of a different color. I had to explain the proper detail to make the repair look good. Then when Joe (sales manager) looked at the bed of the truck he stated they will wash it before delivery. When I returned to take delivery, the bed was not washed. I asked the salesman why did you call me to pick up the truck when this was not done? I told him I want the bed washed as Joe promised. He replied he would have to ask Joe if they could wash the bed. I asked were you not standing with us when Joe stated he would have the bed washed prior to delivery, he replied yes. So, I asked, then why do you need to ask Joe? I had to wait about an hour for him to ask Joe and then wash the bed when this was already promised. I had to return 3 times to attempt to take delivery only to see they did not complete the issues agreed prior to delivery. Why should a customer have to manage their own delivery issues? Sadly this was the only place I could find this vehicle otherwise I would have purchased elsewhere.

From test drive to finalize the purchase, I had a very pleasant experience with this dealer. Scott, the sales advisor, was great! No pressure but unbeatable price. This dealer represents multiple brands so you can try different cars.

We had an excellent experience with our sales person, Scott Sables. He was so professional, highly knowledgeable, pleasant and great to work with. He exhibited high quality customer service given that he is a seasoned salesman and has been in the business for many years. He has been outstanding. The dealership is lucky to have him. Highly recommend Scott and the dealership.

I decided to come take a look at a used Nissan Altima that they had here. I walked in and the people at the front desk were kind. The salesman- Chris- was not. You could tell immediately he didn't want to waste his time selling a used car. I did see on CarGurus that there was an accident reported, so I asked what it was. He said "looks like it was a minor scrape or dent but it was repaired." I believed him so I did my inspection of the exterior and decided to go for a test drive. He literally pulled out his phone and started texting the whole time. I asked him many questions about the car but he just went "I sell Mercedes" and just kept texting. My dad arrived and began his very thorough inspection and discovered that the trunk was completely rusted and wet? He asked the guy again what the accident was and the salesman says "a rear collision" EXCUSE ME? He completely lied to me? Obviously we immediately walked away. Don't trust this dealership if you're a girl!

Called multiple times to talk to someone, they just kept saying that someone will call back but no one did.One time I was even transferred to the specific person whose message clearly said that he will be out of office for so many days but it clearly shows there is no communication in between Motor-werks staff is not proper. Because of which customers have to keep trying to call again and again. In person service is not that bad. My wait time was less than 30min

5 stars for an amazing establishment- although unable to make a deal since apparently used inventory is ("one price"). Listing price was fair but on the higher side of fair- car had too many miles to be priced on higher end in my opinion. Would of loved to make a deal if they were able to negotiate something. Although Dennis was a very professional and well informed individual and provided some good information - thanks. R. Mohammed
