“Lake St. came this morning to pick-up my snowblower for repair. They came w/in 1 hour of my phone call (even after the 5'' snow fall last night). They called w/in 2 hours to let me know the repair was completed. The price to do so was VERY REASONABLE and my snow blower will be returned w/in an hour. Thank you Brian & Matt. Unfortunately, our experience with U-Haul as a company was the complete opposite. We reserved a 10' one-way truck well in advance for my daughter's college move. During the week leading up to the move, we were called repeatedly—sometimes twice a day—changing the pickup time, location, truck size, or some combination of the three. My daughter, my wife, and I all called multiple times trying to get things straightened out. Each time we thought we finally had a plan based on U-Haul's availability, we'd get another call the next day changing it again. The entire reservation and customer service process was an absolute disaster.
U-Haul as a whole gets 1 star from me. Vanessa gets 5. She turned an incredibly frustrating experience into a positive one, and U-Haul is very fortunate to have her at the Rolling Meadows location.”
“Just rented a 5x8 enclosed trailer. In and out with the trailer in 20 minutes time. Friendly people to do business with if you need a UHaul. Trailer was clean and ready to go. They helped attach the trailer, and I was on my way.
Would use and recommend them for UHaul rentals in the future.”
