Extremely rude employees here. I've only been here a couple times and it has been consistently bad service. I had to drop off 2 packages, and happened to be in the area so it was more convenient at the time, but never again. I said hello and no one replied. The one person who was at the front said, "I can't help you right now" then called someone in the back. When another person arrived, I also said hello to him, and again no response. He just scanned my package and handed me the receipt. Although this location is closer to me, I prefer to travel the to Lake Zurich or Kildeer UPS locations for a much better experience.

Been coming here for years. Overall great service and very helpful people. This is the only place around here with a reliable notary public.

The worst experience ever! I went to print 10 11x17 prints for work, the young man asked me what size and I told him very clearly 11x17. He proceeded to print out 24x36 and I told him that I didn't ask for that. He then tried to print the 11x17 and it took forever. He said the printer was having issues communicating with the printer. I waited patiently and stepped away to make a phone call. I looked up after my call to see him walking out and saying "later" to the other two guys in the store. Without even saying "so and so will be helping you because I have to leave".The next person was even less helpful. I was there for almost 20 minutes and left empty handed.The store smelled like a locker room, neither of the 3 employees there new what they were doing and they had no customer service skills whatsoever! They weren't rude but they may have well been. After the first employee left the second one probably only spoke 3 words to me. Literally, 3 words. I have used them to ship before but will now travel to Algonquin to do my business.Not that I did a huge amount of business there but I will never step foot in that place again.

I just stopped by to ship 8 items. The person behind the counter only listed 6 items. When I looked at the receipt, I saw only 6 items. I discussed with him there are 2 missing items, and he kept assuring me that "all are in" several times. I insisted to get a receipt for all items, and simply he did not have them. His statement led me to believe that he was gifting himself the other two items, if I did not question him. The same person, wanted to charge me $3 dollars to print UPS label. When I questioned him he charged one dollar. I do not think UPS would accept this person's conduct. May be more complaints will get someone to investigate this location.

I can go many places to get rude service, why would I stop here? Had an appt for a notary this morning. Walked in right on time: “it’ll be 20-30 min.” Didn’t ask whether I had an appt., no sorry you’ll have to wait behind these people. Notary was just standing there, mine took 3 min. after I walked out and went to a currency exchange down the road.If you want friendly, respectful service, go somewhere else.

$5 to print a label(please reconsider your costs). Tom is the worst and the most unprofessional UPS worker I ever met so far. Take your business somewhere else where you can be respected for your own money

I have never been to a place that had such rude and unhelpful employees. The last two times I was just hoping that they had a bad day. But today, as I was struggling with a very heavy, large box, the 3 employees just stood there watching me try to lug it in. Maybe they're not allowed to help patrons, but at least when I did got it on the counter in front of them, no one said hello, or made any comment....not one word from anyone. And this happened the last two times, too. I said hi and how are you....and nothing. What is going on there?? Either they all hate their jobs or they are just jerks. Either way, I wish it weren't so convenient because I would love to go elsewhere if I could.

This place consistently has the least friendly service of any place ever. You are always made to feel like they are doing you a favor to take your money. Not sure if the owner is just an a@$ or if is the people he hires.

I go to this UPS location about once or twice a month and I have always received good service. I often bring in Amazon returns and the process is quick and painless. And their Notary service is very convenient and inexpensive.

DO NOT USE! Dropped letter off on a Tuesday 6/9 paid 2nd day air $28 delivery end of day TH 6/11 Bluffton SC ...they lost the letter and was not even picked up til Friday 6/12 ... delivered late in day 6/16! No willingness to help resolve the problem or help get a rebate - complete rudeness and assholes through the entire conversation! Blamed COVID...but took my money and blamed UPS ...let them go down! Not worth keeping in Barrington! We have plenty of shipping places!

The manager at this store is VERY dishonest and unprofessional. I shipped a $600 item through them, it arrived at its location and was denied dropoff because the UPS STORE EMPLOYEE shipped it as "media" which requires additional postage,and I told him to ship it USPS ground. My product was denied delivery and is now lost somewhere in the return process. Store manager Kevin is taking 0 accountability and more-so, blaming it on me for not choosing a different shipping option. VERY DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL! This was 100% on the store employee who selected the wrong shipping method.

I was having trouble returning an Amazon pkg and the lake Zürich ups couldn't help me due to having no WiFi (?) and it was a wasted trip. Went into Cook Street Barrington UPS and before I had finished explaining /complaining about my issue Tom had the label and receipt printed, closed up the pkg and I was on my way
