My 4 year old and I visited today for the first time. The owner did a wonderful job showing us around, asking about our interests, and helping us find some great picks. She started with my son and once he'd grabbed books like it was a library, she showed him where he could peruse his finds so I could have the chance to find something for myself. She helped him find a bookmark he was excited about, which she makes herself. She also helped me reinforce the book limit I set for him, even though he ended up deciding to use his own earned money on the rest he'd selected. She even asked me first if he could pick a candy, which I especially appreciated since my other child has a food allergy. The books are in very good condition, for having all been donated. We had a nice afternoon enjoying our new books and will definitely be back!

The owner, Pam, was so sweet and very helpful! She knows her extensive library like the back of her hand! She has a wide variety of options and excellent prices for the quality. I was able to walk away with a dozen books for about $35. Definitely recommend!!

Too few book stores of any kind in this area. So this unexpected and excellent book shop in downtown Bartlett is a real treat. Great selection and wonderful staff (just the one super helpful "booklady", I believe). Please support this gem!

This store is the jewel of the river. Loveliest, sweetest owner you'll ever meet. So many children's books which I'm so grateful for because there were so many childhood classics I was so happy to see again. I brought a friend with and we spent a good while sitting on the floor reminiscing about childhood books. There were so many classic and new books in fantastic condition. Walking in, I felt right at home. I literally cannot wait to frequent this place now that I've found it.
