Wow! I just read some very negative reviews. But, we opened a small account at 5/3 in 2019. When COVID shut the world down, Denise called us from her private number to make sure we were ok AND told us if we needed to get into the closed bank for a loan or large withdrawal, she would get us into the bank. She continued to leave us voicemails to check in every few months. Because of her outstanding customer service, we ended up closing our BMO accounts. Honestly, they never called or emailed once during the shutdown.

DO NOT USE THIS BANK. HIDDEN FEES, EXTRA CHARGES, LIED TO BY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE BANK STAFF THEMSELVES. Absolutely scheme going on, I have no words. Been with them for nearly 3 years, only a problem in last 6 months. If you are thinking about switching, DO NOT pick this bank. I hope something is done about it soon. #BanFifthThird

The worst experience ever!Please do not open an account with them...you will be charged for transactions. Horrible customer service...incorrect information given by reps when u open an account. You also have to pay fees to close your account.

Opened a checking account for my wife....Even though she indicated not to order the checks, the banker took it upon herself and ordered the checks anyways, charging a hefty amount from the account. Also, the customer service is poor and forget to be greeted with a smile!!Also, they charge fees for their “free checking account”! Worst bank and branch ever!!

I had to make a payment to my escrow, due to the fact that I recently switched insurance companies. They told me any Fifth 3rd Bank could take the payment towards my mortgage. They have never been to the one in Bartlett...I'll say that much. Not only did the lady at the counter treat me kind of rude, she looked at me as if I was a ghost when I told her I wanted to make a payment towards my escrow. She had me go wait in line for a personal banker...after 10 mins of waiting, that person told me the lady at the counter should be able to take my payment. At that point, I had to wait another 5 mins for that line to die down. They did take the payment, but didn't apply it anything. Luckily I called 5th 3rd mortgage to see if they applied it towards the escrow...good thing I called the lady on the line told me...as it was not applied to anything. Just sitting in limbo.Thanks for nothing 5th 3rd Bank of Bartlett.

This is the worst 53rd branch and I have been to many branches as I am a real estate investor.Denise provided the worst customer service experience and have really bad attitude. Javier was the manager on duty and looks like have no control over his employees.Very disappointed. Never going back to this branch.

02/25/20 Update: 5/3 has reversed course and decided to continue to fund Florida school choice. Just read this change of heart from Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) this morning. Thanks 5/3.Nothing against the Bartlett branch, but 5/3 Bank does not support religious freedom as it just pulled donations to Florida school choice. They seem to miss the warning in Ridley Scott's famous Apple commercial that shows the masses should not all think same. Some behaviours will never be acceptable!

I don't think I have ever gone out of my way to write a review for any place I have visited but I just had the absolute worst customer service experience. I would never trust my money and all my personal information with this lady. Simply genuinely appalled.
