This HD has one of the worst customers service ever, been there many times and always dissapointed when trying to ask for help, expect for paint department. I go here only for emergencies, otherwise HD on Schaumburg rd or Menards, looking at reviews..seems like a trend..

I NEVER leave bad reviews but feel compelled to vent a bit. I reserved a truck a MONTH in advance because I had to move due to landlord selling house. Stress upon stress trying to find a place and move in December. Two days before pick up I get a call saying they had no truck for me as it was in for repairs and should never have been in available inventory to begin with. TWO DAY'S NOTICE! Tight schedule be damned, already arranged work time off. Stress level through the roof! Had a whole month to inform me. Not a good look. Do better, people, do better.

DO NOT BUY CURBSIDE FOR THIS LOCATION!! This locations curbside is extremely slow... I always wind up waiting waiting waiting then giving up and going inside... Then the guy at the counter makes you wait for him to do his other things then eventually you give up and just going to the isle and buying it off the shelf, then cancelling your online order... This place is not quick pick up of an item and run friendly. I've had to do this multiple times now... This is my last order online with them... Your better off going to the ACE hardware down the street even though they are more pricey.

I came in to the store to purchase carpet and was thoroughly disappointed with the customer service experience. It took at least 10-15 min for me to hunt down a person that worked in the carpet department and could help me. When I did, Kyle K. turned out to be an incompetent and disrespectful associate who completely ruined the experience for me. He wasn’t able to help me figure out how much of a 12’-roll carpet I needed for my measurements, wasn’t helpful in choosing the best type of carpet, couldn’t tell me if any of their leftover pieces would meet my carpet needs, kept giving me conflicting information, talking over me and just being completely rude the entire time. Their manager (I think he was one although I couldn’t identify that by any sort of name tag) wasn’t much help and just gave me a $30 discount to shut me up. There were, however, 2 other associates that helped me figure out the measurements even though they didn’t work in the carpet department. One of them was Billy; he was helping Kyle with the carpet and was very kind to me the whole time, even went an extra mile to make sure I got help in loading the purchase into my car. Billy is the kind of worker I wish Home Depot would hire more of! And some workers like Kyle clearly need more training in math and in customer service!!

Frequent buyer and HD cardholder here...the pricing at your stores has really gotten out of whack. I know inflation and all, but I find myself shopping here less and less because the 'green' and 'blue' home improvement centers offer significant savings over HD. It's unfortunate. Just wanted to give you my opinion on things.

pete brian and julia swooped in and saved us from
being here forever. brian directed us and was very polite. pete showed us around the store and brought us to everything we needed. he saw us struggling and asked if we needed help and we really appreciated that. Julia was great and super sweet when i had asked some questions, overall great people who work here!! thank you three for being so kind on a busy weekend

No one asked if you needed help.Many times, I would be looking for something, and the employees would be standing and talking. I would stand there and wait, and then they would ask me if they could help. I live 5 minutes from Home Depot, and I will drive 20 minutes to go to Menards. A lot of people in my neighborhood complain about the same thing. I had one young lady last week saw I was looking for something and helped me. That was probably the first time in years that someone offered to help .

Great experience at the Home Depot in Bartlett this morning. Mike from plumbing was able to help me out find the perfect replacement water heater. He is very out going, nice, and most of all very knowledgeable. Also took the time to educate me on the warranty. Thank you Mike from plumbing.

I recently had the most amazing experience at Home Depot, thanks to the exceptional customer service from Jason in the paint department and Brandon in the garden section. Jason was extremely helpful, taking the time to educate us on which paints were of good quality and suited our budget. He also provided excellent advice on the longevity of paints for our front deck. We left feeling confident and well-informed about our purchase.
Brandon in the garden section was equally fantastic. He was super helpful, holding on to our plants while we were paying and being extremely nice throughout the process. His assistance made our visit even more pleasant.
I’ve never had such a wonderful experience at Home Depot, but Jason and Brandon truly made it memorable. Thank you for the outstanding service!
