“This is a second review I’m leaving under my real name (see other review under @the English Professor).I’ve been a satisfied customer of Fox Valley Coins since 2021 and would send my family to all of these guys if I were on my death bed and needed to recommend where they should go to sell my collection. Christian, Mike, and all of the guys there are consistently friendly and professional and I always feel well taken care of when I’m in the shop.I’m responding to the negative review from customer Scott for the purpose of highlighting the owner’s classy response and follow up response to Scott’s misunderstanding of what occurred during his experience at FVC. Who takes the time to compose a thorough and sincere response like that to an insatiate review like the one Scott left? The answer is: an owner who cares about his customers and the legacy of his business. He explained what happened, acknowledged that there was likely a misunderstanding during the transaction, and wasn’t insulting or condescending to Scott in responding to the review. That’s class, in my book, and that’s why I continue to patronize Fox Valley Coin on a regular basis. I have four different local coin shops I rely on and FVC is always at the top of my list.”

“There’s lots to see in this lovely shop! I took a few trips around the whole store and each time I saw something new that excited me. The booths are full of unique items and most are very reasonable prices. There’s a new booth off to the right of the door by the window called “Mona Maison” and it is all very unique treasures from all over the world! A crystal and fine china lover’s dream! Definitely the place to stop for antique finds at great prices. I’ll definitely be back!”

Good mix of old antiques, and collectibles from the last 40yrs. Movies, music of all sorts (vinyl, cassette, 8track, cd), jewelry, currency, funkos, action figures, comics, books, etc..Glad we stopped because we found a few deals.”

His friend bought a necklace, and my son found a beer stein he wants to buy my husband for Father’s Day. I worried that a group of young boys in an antique store may seem suspicious or strange, but my son reports that the shop owner/worker was kind, welcoming and encouraging towards these boys.
