Our son has been taking drumset lessons with John for about a year and he has learned so much! John and the Hix Brothers Music School staff have been wonderful and we would highly recommend them if you're looking to get your son/daughter lessons!

I looked for a jazz piano teacher but couldn't find one in the area. Not only is Larry an experienced and respected jazz pianist in the Chicago area, but he's also a great teacher. I've learned and improved so much more than I could from any other teacher I could find. If the other teachers are as good as Larry, then I doubt you'll find better music lesson in the area.

Hix brothers is amazing! I have a guitar player and drummer that take weekly lessons with Andrew and Ken. They are both so great with the kids and they have learned so much. The front desk staff are also so friendly and fantastic to interact with.

They make music so much fun!! All of the teachers at Hix are not only fantastic musicians in their own right but also great teachers who are adept at working with both kids and adults. My family has taken lessons in drums, guitar and piano and all of the teachers have been top notch.

Both our boys take lessons from Aaron (piano and guitar) and our experience has been phenomenal! It is a welcoming atmosphere and they love going each week!
