“Love this store.great organizing items. Love the silk flowers, I make si many different arrangements with them. Great to get Office/school supplies in the off seasons, books, crafts etc. The list goes on.”
“Many items available at $1.25. This is a must stop especially at Christmas time for gift wrapping supplies including gift boxes. Ornaments for the tree or decor, and other harder to find products.
Only drawback is a shortage of help at checkout. Store usually crowded during weekdays. Other handy household items available all year long.”

“I go here quite often since it is close to where I live. Today there was a container in the aisle and I scratched my leg on it. I had the clerk look at it to see if it was bleeding because I am on blood thinners and diabetic. He didn't see any blood but by the time I got home it was bleeding pretty good .I went back and showed the guy my bandages and bought some large bandages. He didn't seem concerned about the location of the container as it was a safety issue. I'll continue to go there but I wish it was less congested and the employees were trained better on customer safety.”
“Lots of good items to get here for a budget price. Needs a bit more care with maintenance and organize items without having boxes ? just laying everywhere. It can feel overwhelming looking for things and it is hard to find the way its set up here.”
“I've been shopping here almost 10 years. In the last 2 years I've found the staff to be AMAZING! They're so helpful and caring. It's nice they recognize my 2 son's and myself. There are 2 employees in particular that deserve recognition- Ken and Bri. They make every visit welcoming. 10/10”
“amily Dollar is a nice small store to go in and out to get things that you need.The location has had good service in the times that I have visited and have always had what I was looking for. It is pretty convenient being a smaller store to visit this store. If you are looking for a big variety of a certain product then you want to go elsewhere but generally there are a few different brands of each item to choose from.They do have a small alcohol selection as well. I look at this place like a small grocery store and small Walmart/Target in one place.”

“ESMERELDA THE STORE MANAGER is a RABID RACIST.She loves to harass and racially profile innocent black people and accuse them of theft.She did that to me today and thank God a another black woman told her that I didn't steal anything!!!! She never apologized and I'm never coming back except for my attorney to drop off the lawsuit papers against her and Family Dollar. Black people don't shop here at all!!! I would have gave 0 stars but people need to SEE this!!!”
“nothing bad out of my experience this time. ive definitely been to way worse. staff friendlier than im used to at these stores so thats a plus. floors were clean without boxes all over the place like other locations ive been to. a real staple for the neighborhood, its like an extra large discount convenience store now really.”

“I often go to dollar General on Sheridan Road in Kenosha, WI. Last Friday July 5th, 2024, I stopped for a few items. The salesclerk, Gejuan assisted me. He not only helped me locate my items, but he was pleasant, and had a bubbly can-do attitude. You have a winner with that young man! Give him a raise!”
“They are always cleaning in the store. They also disinfected the check out after every customer. The store is always stocked with whatever you need. The people who work there are nice as well”
“Yesenia is fantastic and always accommodating. She seems to be the only manager who actually cares and isn’t rude. Had a different experience with the other manager today, but Yesenia’s positive attitude made up for that situation.”

“I've been to all the dollar general's in my area. The one in Beach Park, Zion, Winthrop harbor, this one is the best stocked with lots of options also it's one of the only stores that doesn't have a lot of boxes in your way.”
