I had a bad experience. I was going to get my passport photo taken. But right when the photo was about to be taken, the manager conveniently exited from the break room at the same time and said my shirt was too bright, and they asked if I could go and put on a different shirt. I didn't return.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience at Walgreens recently, and it's all thanks to one particular younger asian male pharmacist who clearly needs a crash course in customer service. I was at the window, desperately trying to provide my son's insurance information. I politely asked the pharmacist to hold on for a moment as I tried to obtain the necessary details.
Instead of showing an ounce of patience, this pharmacist decided to switch the phone to his colleague. But hold on, it gets worse. He abruptly took the phone back from her and declared that I should come back tomorrow because they were closing. Never mind the fact that I was there well before closing time.
As someone working in the health industry, this pharmacist should be well aware of the importance of empathy and understanding, especially when dealing with patients. What if the medication I needed was for a sickly patient? The complete lack of sympathy and the rude attitude displayed were absolutely unacceptable. I expected better service, and it's disheartening to see such behavior in a healthcare setting. I strongly advise against dealing with this particular pharmacist.

I was very disappointed with Walgreens Pharmacy on how they handle my prescription. Today is extremely frustrating. I called them in the morning to check my prescription, took me about an hour to get hold of somebody. Then finally someone answered, I asked for the status of my prescription and the pharmacy tech told me it's ready for pickup at 12:30pm. When I arrived in the afternoon at 1:30pm, they told me my script cannot be filled because it needs the doctor's DEA #. I understand that this is necessary, however, they haven't notified me that there was an issue with the prescription. What's meven frustrating was the fact that they only requested the DEA from my doctor's office the moment I arrived to the store to pick up my medication. So I know very well that they did not make my medication ready by 12:30pm, hence I never got any notification. I would like to reach out to the manager of this store and complain about your incompetent staff. I hope this review reach you. Pls feel free to contact me.

Long story short, the employees here couldn't find me in their computer system, so they "fixed" the situation by linking my information to another person's . . . a person who lives in Florida. In the process, they gave me access to the Florida man's health information. What they did was so idiotic--"I can't find you in our system, so I'll take this person with a different birthdate and different insurance and merge his information with yours"--it's mind boggling. I reported this HIPAA violation the federal government and later received a letter telling me one of the employees had been "sanctioned," employees had been retrained, and the person in Florida received a letter alerting him to the data breach.

This pharmacy keeps on disappointing. Came to pick up a Rx and was at the window by 5 on Saturday and they wouldn’t attend me. Hours stayed open sundays at the drive thru so I made no big deal came back on Sunday only to see they are closed SMH. They need to update the hours. Now I need to wait half a day for another pharmacy to fill my prescription.

The pharmacy staff here is ignorant and has no customer service skills whatsoever! I’m sitting here in the drive through and there isn’t a line inside or outside and they are sitting here looking at me laughing and walking past the window! If you’re not taking customers just say something.

I was absolutely blown away by the help David gave me and my wife when picking a prescription. Good advice helped us reduce a 500 dollar copay to 5 dollars!

The service in the pharmacy is a disaster. I have been using this Walgreens in Beach Park for many years. It has been on the decline for a long time. The turnover of employees in the pharmacy is frequent. Pharmacy hours change without warning. Terrible service because the employees are overworked. I do not want to change but I have no other choice. Just cannot put up with the aggravation.

I think this is a fine Walgreens. Haven't had any issues with products, service, or prescriptions.
