During one of the most difficult times in our family's lives, Hack-Jensen Funeral Home provided comfort, compassion, and professionalism beyond our expectations. From the very first phone call, Mike treated our family with genuine care and understanding. With this being our first time ever having to plan and prepare a service, we were talked through every step of the process with patience, answered all our questions, and made sure every detail was handled beautifully and as we asked. I feel as if the service truly honored our loved one’s memory. We are deeply grateful for their kindness and the peace they brought us during such a painful time. I would highly recommend Hack-Jensen to any family in need of compassionate support. You can tell they truly care and are excellent at what they do.

A sincere thank you to Hack Funeral Home for deftly handling the services of my mother in these unusualtimes. Zach was patient, friendly and walked us through all details and possibilities. Two standouts was Zach’s Robert’s suggestion of Rev. Scarlett Mullikin to officiate and the welcoming historic house that holds Hack, our very small service was at one point in the kitchen that felt like we were at home. Thank you Zach and Scarlett ( and Mike ) for helping us through the worst of times.

The employees of this business were very considerate of the family grieving their loved one. They went above and beyond to make everyone as comfortable as possible. They were also very informative for the little time they had to explain to the family what would be happening. Great review, thank you Hack-Jensen.

THE PERSON GINA IS LYING COMPLETELY LYING SHE WAS NOT EVEN IN HE STATE OF IL WHEN THE SERVICE WAS MADE!! This place did everything they could even let us stay an extra hour to grieve and be with our loved one!! The funeral home and the people who did this was wonderful to say the least hey explained everything very clearly before we walked in. The service we had was all we could afford in the short time we had to come up with the money in order for him to finally be at rest! And I do apologize for the lies that are being spread about this place because they do not deserve that!!!!!!!! I would know I was there I was the one who had to help plan this!!! Maybe next time the people spreading be lies would actually listen to the people who spoke and made it very clear what was going on!! Thank you hack funeral for doing what you could with the short amount of

If I could give minus 5 stars I would. They were totally disrespectful not only to the family of the deceased, but they were disrespectful of the deceased as well. They charged $200 for a viewing which would have been acceptable IF THE VIEWING WAS NOT LITERALLY IN A GARAGE with old tires, lawnmowers and tools laying everywhere. They misspelled the name that was hand written on the cardboard box.that the body was placed in. There was zero effort made to show a little decency and respect for the dead and the family of the deceased. . Extremely unprofessional. This is a vision that my family will never be able to erase from their minds. They couldn't even be bothered to dress our loved one before putting him on display for the entire family to see. Deplorable and appalling. The 12 year old daughter of my nephew literally ran from the building throwing up
