I bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze from Mike Wheeler here last month and everyone along the buying process was more than helpful. After the first month I noticed the heat wasn't working right and when I informed them, they took it to the shop for inspection and fixed my thermostat at zero cost on my end. Very happy with the service provided and would recommend to any new buyers looking for an affordable car to check this place out

After months of research and looking we finally found what we wanted at Auffenberg Econo Corner! The sales staff Joe P and Jay were super friendly, straight shooters and Shannon in finance was very helpful as we figured our loan amount. We’ve bought cars before and it’s felt stressful but we were so happy with the quality of car selection, great sales staff and customer centered financing. Highly recommend the team at Econo Corner! They take care of business and play great music!

Took my mom to trade in her car and get something more reliable. Zach was our salesman and he went over and beyond to help us. She purchased a Hyundai Elantra and is very pleased with it. We definitely recommend!

Joseph was a fantastic friendly and transparent car sales person. He is personable, lnowledgeable and very helpful. Joseph's friendliness and professionalism exceeded all car sales persons I have ever encountered when purchasing a car. Scott Mierisch was a great Salesman.
However financing was absolutely ridiculous. We already had an offer from Capital one and we prefer to go with Capital one instead when we got there, they tried to pressure us and lied saying that Capital one payment was high kept trying to manipulate it to go with the credit union obviously because they have a relationship with them and I’m sure they get perks. Financing did not care about what we wanted.
Financing took over three hours and My Husband was sitting there shaking because he hadn’t eaten. He mentioned several times that he needed to leave and get food that he hadn’t eaten in hours.
My Husband already had the car picked out so literally all that he went in there to do was do the
financing.
Three hours is insane! The manipulation is insane, being deceiving is insane.
Where are honest dealers?!

A big shoutout to Joe at Auffenberg. He was personable and friendly, knew a lot about the cars on the lot, and was honest – even if the answers weren’t exactly what we wanted to hear, which I really appreciated. He helped me make a great deal on a new-to-me car that I’m super excited about. I would definitely tell my friends and family to head to Auffenberg if they’re in the market for a stress-free car shopping experience!

Great place, worked with Brian and Zach. These guys bent over backwards for me for two days as I tried to handle insurance and my previous loan holder. Literally the only dealership that I've ever interacted with that didn't seem sketchy or scummy. Every employee I spoke to seemed to be a decent person with a sales job instead of the typical robot you usually interact with in an auto dealership. Zach was great; he was friendly, and fast, and knowledgeable. He definitely deserves salesman of the month over the guy who shook his can of monster lol. Brian was the dude. He handled the financial process exactly how I needed him too. They were honest, professionally sound and personable to the correct extent. They didn't try to schmooze me. They both deserve higher pay. Don't listen to the people complaining in the reviews below, they just have unrealistic expectations and they're more than likely just miserable people judging from the comments. I can't emphasize enough how great this place is. 100% gonna come back just because of those two men next time I need to buy a vehicle. Shout out to Kendra as well. She was essential to the process as well.

I worked with Joe Parker and he was very knowledgeable and likable. They are very busy so it took a long time, but Joe made sure my mother and I were always taken care of. He even offered to get us food while we waited. The employees are always assisting each other and they are very good at what they do. I also didn't meet one person there who didn't seem to know what they were doing.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I’ve had to bring my 2019 Chevy Trax that I bought from here in Belleville about 2 months ago back to the dealership 4 times now with a similar issue each time. The first time they didn’t tell me what was wrong but I was losing power while driving, when I got it back I was told “4000$ worth of work” was done to my car but never was told what work was done. Second time was a mistake on their mechanics end; the coolant cap had been left off causing coolant to spray all over my engine. I ended up stuck on the side of the highway the same night I got it back. Third time it got checked for codes when the engine light came on and they sent me on my way. I never received a call regarding what the issue was. It is still currently in the shop for the fourth time now and has been there for a week. At this point, the service department has had it the same amount of time, if not more, than I have. I have just paid my second car payment while they have my car, they won’t give me a rental to drive, I’m struggling to get to and from work, and they quoted me over 1200$ worth of work to repair the same issue that’s been happening since the beginning. When I asked to just be given the option of not buying the vehicle or buying a different vehicle, I was told my only option was to treat is as a trade-in. Their phone number goes straight to voicemail when I call and when it isn’t full I don’t get a call back. I’ve still even been open to buying a different vehicle through them but they refuse to make themselves available to even speak with me, and when they do they give me no information. Do not waste your time, money or stress with this place. Very disappointed in how a simple issue has been handled so unprofessionally.

Do NOT get anything here!! My girlfriend just bought a car there a week ago and it has some kind of transmission issue. They kept her car for two days just to say they didn’t find anything!! They are unprofessional! A man named Ron hung up on me while I was talking. DO NOT GO HERE

We called about a vehicle (we gave them the stock number) we were interested in and was told by Rachel it was there and she asked if we wanted to come look at it then or one day this week. We told her we were coming now. She said to come on over and ask for her. It took 45 minutes to get there and we were told that Rachel had left and she set us up with someone else. A young man came up to us and asked what we were interested in. (We thought Rachel had told the person she “set us up” with would know. But we had to tell him. He looked in system, got up and said he’d be back. When he came back he threw his arms up in the air and said oh that vehicle is not here right now it’s in Shiloh getting the seat belt replaced and doesn’t know when it will be back. I asked if they had anything similar on the lot that we could look at and he said “not for that price “. At that point we took a different meaning to the fact that she “set us up”. It was a scam to get us down there!!
Horrible place!! Will report to BBB.
