I messaged the owner Chris off of marketplace and we started talking torque converters. I didn't know him from Adam, however it quickly became apparent he knew his stuff and is the real deal. From prepurchase through post purchase the level of customer service has been impeccable. I highly recommend checking him out. I plan to buy another converter for a street/strip application very soon.

I have used Builtrite for years. The shop takes care of my 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 6.7l automatic truck.
I had the transfer case shear off the back of the trans housing at 75mph. Chris came through for me dealing with the insurance company and the truck back on the road. I have a long history with my truck and Builtrite has serviced for the past 200,000 miles.
Builtrite has been great to work with and I trust there work. You don’t think about until your down the road at speed knowing your vechicle runs solid without problems.

Took a while for me to get in because Chris had quite a few customers ahead of me. He didn’t mind me checking in and seeing when he’d be ready. Once the work was done I was happy to put a BiltRite logo on the back of my truck. 48re transmissions are known to fail, especially when a Cummins motor is turned up. Chris is all about explaining where OEM parts fail, what causes them to wear out faster, and what he’s going to do to make sure they don’t. It’s where I’ll be taking my vehicles for life.

I brought my vehicle to Biltrite after being quoted $1,300 from another shop to fix a rattling sound in my exhaust system. They put my car up on the lift and determined that there was NO NEED to repair the exhaust. It was simply a broken bracket, they repaired the bracket and I was on my way! So very thankful for honest people in this industry. I could have spent a pretty penny for no reason if I wouldn’t have gotten a second opinion from Biltrite!!

I had a transmission rebuilt here and after one and a half years of chasing wires and my truck not running since it was rebuilt. I finally took my truck to the shop and a wiring harness in my transmission was stripped bare. It shows they don't take their time to make sure things are done right

Done an amazing job going from a 4l60e to a TH400 with a FMVB swap on my 98 ws6 Trans Am. A lot of custom work/parts and they done a great job. With his converter and tranny I’ve had zero issues whatsoever and during the installation everyone was very helpful and made sure everything was going to be built exactly the way I wanted it.

Chris took the time as the business owner to be my personal informant throughout every step of the process. He converted my 1990 bronco transmission from an AOD to a 4r70w and did a fantastic job. This is a guy who is passionate about what he does and passionate about the customer and their experience. I was never left out of the loop and the quality of the job is immaculate. If Chris isn’t the best customer service, mechanic around I don’t know who is! This man responds quickly, be honest and blunt with you, will let you know if something won’t work out right or give you a better option. His services are beyond phenomenal. I haven’t had customer service like this before especially over the phone. I highly recommended this shop for your needs!
