Don’s is hard to beat. The store stocks a wide variety of parts for plumbing, windows, doors, you name it. They’re very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. If they don’t stock what you’re looking for, they’ll find it and order it for you!

Well here’s my unfiltered opinion about Don’s Hardware. My A/C went out when it was 96° out on a Saturday. I’m lucky enough to have a friend point me in the right direction to get the necessary part to repair it. My impression when I walked in was a couple of old buddies hanging out on a weekend that just know their shit. These types of businesses lose everyday to big box stores that hire kids that know nothing. Let’s keep this place busy.

First bad experience at Don's Hardware, I can get a passive aggressive responses at home if I wanted one. Went back to return the parts suggested for me, after bringing in the used parts, for replacement by the same clerk. Not only would he not give me the money back, he also told me I should go home and bring back better parts. I'm not sure how to do that, but If I figure that out I'll go elsewhere. I expect this kind of service at the big box stores. That is why I went to a local hardware store. I will not be back!

I am so happy they still replace window and door screens if you bring in the frame!!! I believe they're the only hardware store left in the area that still offers that traditional service ?.

We walked in with a plumbing part from the 70's and immediately the gentleman who helped us knew exactly what was needed. He matched it exactly and saved us hundreds of dollars from a plumbing repair bill! Thank you Don's for your expertise!

As soon as I walked in someone asked if they could help. Showed them what I needed to replace and we went right to the replacement parts. He verified the size to make sure it fit. I went home and installed it and it worked like a champ! I still don’t know why I’m so stubborn that I go to the big box stores first. Don’s Hardware should be my first stop.
