Went to the store at 8:15 am on 2/26. Store was NOT open, employee was inside and unlocked the door about 20 after 8, website says the store opens at 8:00 am not 8:20 am. The store is one of the better ones in the area.

I need a general manager or someone from store #04583 to reach out to me about my service today from some little girl who I’m old enough to be her mom! There was coupons on cereal 2/6 I asked if they were on sale she said no I told her a sign was over there she said they were old and she wouldn’t honor them o then asked or a manager and she said she was the manager I told her she has to honor the coupons she then took the coupons off of shelf and told me my cereal I selected was 2/7 or something like that ok fine but her attitude and the way she spoke to me was disgusting! I asked for manager name she said Mia and that’s all she had so now I’m in here giving a review because I don’t play when I spend my money!

I really like the Dollar general store that we have in Caseyville IL .I have found several bargains .I found a little stool that I use all the time, laundry baskets ,dog treats, eye makeup, readers,,cell phone cables,etc. All of the D.G. stores have a lot of choices.

What an actual joke. The store is a complete mess boxes and trash everywhere! The prices on the shelves don’t reflect what they get rang up for. The two ladies working were so rude, and the lady working the register would just stare when I told her I didn’t want something. The other lady told me she couldn’t change prices because of corporate and she was in the middle of price changes now.. but I wasn’t asking her to change prices just informing her that her prices weren’t accurate. This is all after I’ve been waiting at the register to check out while two employees were standing talking and complaining!

Wow came here to say the same thing that the newest review said.Today was my second time in a row coming here I went yesterday and today and was told they couldn’t price match what was on the shelves.I didn’t notice till after I paid that the price was different than the shelf.Fix it! I went to the dollar general on Carlyle today and had a the gun on the counter was incorrectly was incorrect and the cashier changed it with no problem!!! What’s the difference???

This store needs a whole new management team.every time I come here the prices are always different than what’s on the shelves and they do not honor the prices.the manager stated it was corporate that told them they couldn’t change the prices but every store I ever shopped at always changed the prices if they were wrong or already had the prices marked as they should be…you all need to get it together because I will not be shopping at this location in the future.

I have to say that this is 1 of 2 BEST!!! DG's I have been to not in in my state of Missouri. The customer service and my overall experience and interactions with the manager and other staff was first rate! From the time I entered the store to the time I checked out and left, was what EVERY customer should experience. I can't say enough about the 3 ladies that assisted me in finding what i was seeking and their great energy and attentiveness to my needs was exceptional. Thank you all for putting this customer first and making my laugh! Corporate SHOULD be proud.
