This little boy named Tom really tried me, over a dollar. The item I got rang up $5.00, I told him it said $4.00 he goes over there and calls me over and says they must’ve fell and he wasn’t giving it to me for $4.00 I told him that was fine I just was telling him he said they all fell but I could clearly see they were $5.00. I said again I was just telling him! It was the way he was talking to me as I am old enough to be his mom and I am never tripping over a few coins as I am sure I make more than him hourly & for him to be so rude to customers. He definitely could use some training!!

I think I spend about $30 to $100 a week or average 300 a month at dollar general stores. That's not to mention what my wife and teenage son spends at a DG. However, that's all done and over with as of today. I found out today that everything is not charged/rang up as priced. Brought this to the cashiers attention this a.m as he ring my items up. I even went back to the area where I got the items and sho nuff I was charged an higher amount than posted. I have been in the store on two occasions that I recall other customers experiencing the same thing. Sad thing is this guy wants to become hostile about the situation instead of going back to look at the item and give the customer the price listed. I could have pressed the issue like I have seen the Caucasian customer's do at this store and they get charged the lesser price. But I choose to follow peace with all men and just spend that 3 to 4 thousand a year somewhere else. Hopefully I can convince my family to do the same. That's a total of about 7000 to spend elsewhere. My advice if you are considering shopping at this location...there are other stores within walking distance and within a mile or 2 with better customer service and selections. Plus those stores are not Junkie...plenty of walking room.

The store was a little crowded with stock that wasnt put away. It was hard to get around at parts of the store. The prices were okay but I get better quality products for a lower price at Dollar Tree. I left with just 3 small items. I was disappointed. Normally at these types of stores I spend 20 to 100 dollars, I spent 4 dollars.

Picture this... You're doing and there is a huge stock cart in the aisle way. You try to squeeze by and say "excuse me" to only hear "they just get ruder and ruder". You turn around and reply, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I said excuse me." The 2 employees ignore you so you repeat yourself to where they don't accept your apology but go on about how I almost made her hit her head. So I reply, "yeah that's why I'm apologizing." Nope that's not good enough... "well you could have said it before you bumped her" 2nd employee "or you could have just went around." So by then I'm ready to snap like "no you don't put your stock cart in the aisle obstructing customers' walk ways." But an older woman grabs my arm and says "baby you did right they just want to be mad." And an older gentleman comes around the corner and says to me "go on. That ain't even about you. You apologized that's all needed to be done." The other 2 employees I encountered were pleasant and I had no issues. But at the end of the day those first two, were caught being nasty and instead of just accepting an apology went off because they WANTED to have an attitude. You can't call someone rude and then display this behavior. Clearly they don't know what rude is. And all this on top of defying a state mandate while you at work. Out here all maskless and in the public. Don't know their names but that's them.

Even if they're short staffed, the staff here are always really friendly and polite. They talk to you like a person and start small talk. The shelves are always stocked and neat. They work really well with what they have

This is the only location that does not accept snap benefits and this is unfortunate because oftentimes I don’t want to go into the schnucks next door to avoid the crowds

Few weeks went here in pm. Staff friendly but store was super cluttered. Not just one section of store either. This evening pulled in at 844pm. Website says 9pm closure. They had it locked up and a staff member was at register with back to me. She wasnt counting down register or really doing anything. She turned and said we're closed. Another woman pulled in at that time. For sure lost 2 customers.

Overall I like Dollar general as a easy place to go to for the small things. I don't do any major shopping there usually under $20. This time I got some headache medicine and some windshield washer fluid so it's usually pretty random. This location is a little older than most of them these days and it seemed like only one person was on duty. She was bouncing the best she could between the register and stocking shelves. The staff is currently wearing face masks and they have a plexiglass shield between you and them. I had only one elderly couple ahead of me in line

Dirty, never stocked well, smells of pot often and workers are not professional. Blair music from cell phones, singing at checkouts. Disappointed in our newer store but have checked out a few. They are all the same.
