I don’t know but whoever they use to deliver washer machine or something like those I would choose to have somebody else to do it cause last time they didn’t give us time to turn off the water and they left and they came today and just came in looked and never did anything to uninstall the old washing machine and put the new one in they only came in just looked and said he got to call his dispatcher and left and never did anything they need to get a new workers who deliver or a new company that actually will do the job I ain’t trying to be a Karen but who does that do you want the money or you care to lose your job.

I was at this location last Thursday morning, getting stuff for a DYI. I walked in and headed towards the lumber section when I heard an employee (Jimmy) yell out, “the gorillas are out!” He was talking amongst his co-workers. I was the only customer around. I continued shopping and he kept repeating it. Then it dawned on me, Jimmy is referring to me 😳. His fellow co-worker asked him what he meant by the statement then he changed up his wording because I was standing there looking at it directly. He then said him meant the gorilla tape is out…. Whatever that suppose to mean. I reported him to Jake the head manager on duty that day. Jake said it was reporting him immediately to higher. I still purchased my stuff. Jimmy is not ignorant, that’s a lite statement. He is dumb!

Cheryl at customer service is rude. I learned of the new return policy where items wo a receipt are not accepted. I said kind of pushes me to go to Home Depot and she threw up her hands and shrugged her shoulders. She then said she didn’t say that she didn’t care but shrugging shoulders means that, Cheryl. Lied about looking up my phone number and said the item wasn’t listed under my phone number. As I was waking through the store, I realized the purchase would be in my rewards account and it was. I walked back up to the counter where Cheryl was now on her phone and I said I found the purchase In my rewards account, and she sarcastically said oh good. I showed her my phone and she said no that’s where u can buy the item and I showed her where it literally stated last purchased on 11/17/24. She still was refusing the refund and her attitude was so bad I asked to speak to her manager. She sarcastically said suuurre. The manager came and she was more polite but condescending. Said please and thank you at the same time condescendingly. She said she could not return it without an order number that there’s no way to enter it. Having worked in retail for 15 years seems to me the procedure would be having now verified it had been purchased, to scan the item and override it if there’s no other way. Rewards account showed I bought it and yet it still is a problem? Give the customer their refund! The manager then asked for my phone number and there the purchase was. Cheryl had lied about the item not being under my number. This refund was $12. All that nonsense, rudeness and unnecessary hassle for a $12 return? Yikes! I wasn’t even mad at the returns policy necessarily as I get it. Although Home Depot still has exchange/merchandise credit so would be much easier to go there, instead. It’s the attitude that was uncalled for. The hassle when I was right the whole time but the associates want to flex authority and be combative for no reason. Do better Lowe’s.

We visit frequently due to home renovations and wood projects, and the staff are always so helpful and kind. My one request would be to get a new “race car” shopping cart. We have two littles who love to ride in it, but the current one has a broken off steering wheel, no child safety belts(!!), and the handle to push is broken off and has a sharp edge.

DO NOT order wood for delivery from this place. I ordered an extremely large bundle of 8 ft. 2x2s (treated) to make frames for large porch screens and 95% of the wood was warped and bowed beyond belief and not useable at all. I can see a few boards getting through that aren’t straight, but nearly the entire delivery? This was no mistake. This was them pushing off all their rejected garbage wood onto their deliveries AKA home customers. Zero respect given to us and it shows. If you order wood from these people, you are taking a big chance, my friends. You have been warned.
UPDATE: The number the person left below goes to their hotline. It’s not to the local store. Passing the buck I guess.
Secondly, I called, ordered some more wood, was promised the wood would be good, they charged 80 dollars for delivery and then cancelled half my order after I already paid for the delivery of all of it. These people are absolutely horrible businessmen. I’m done with their nonsense.
UPDATE II: I guess I wasn’t done with their nonsense. We called. They played stupid as can be, wondering why we were upset with paying 80 dollars for a delivery we never got. They said we needed to call corporate offices to file a complaint. It almost feels like they go out of their way to be horrible people.
