It took me a while to find an auto repair place I trust. I wouldn't go anywhere else now but here. They do great work, they are friendly and helpful. They don't try to add stuff to fix on your car like some places do. They are honest and that's hard to find these days. I would highly recommend them!!!!

Had an issue with our vehicle not starting and almost being stranded. Dropped off after hours and left a voicemail about it. The next day, they were able to diagnose the issue and get it back to me fixed and ready to go before closing.
These guys are professional, friendly and reasonable. Highly recommend and will use again in the future, if needed.

They provided the best quote and was able to get me in the next day. The brakes were completed within 3 hours of drop off. The shop staff was courteous and professional. They will be my first call on any future repairs.

While being 1hr away from home, my check engine light came on and my car was running poorly. I just so happened to see their automotive sign and pulled in their lot during a moment of desperation. Not only were they extremely kind but they diagnosed the problem, had the parts brought over, and fixed the issue in less than an hour. All this right at their closing time. I probably won’t have the opportunity to return for future services but will be forever grateful for getting my son and me home safely! Thank you so much for your kindness and the speedy repair!

The Schaefer Automotive LLC in Swansea, IL is definitely one of the best of the best automotive centers I've had to do work on my vehicles. They are honest,courteous, Dedicated , and well equipped , knowledgeable and responsive and respectful to their patrons. If you have any automotive issues, and don't want the BS in inexperience mechanics, price gauging and long waits, this is definitely the place to go. Ain't lying!
