I've been banking with Scott Credit Union for over 5 years and have had no problems, now all I have is problems with this bank starting with the customer service.

This bank will steal your money. Been with them for 10 years and canceling my account the first opportunity I have after I clear up negative balance from NSF charges. Do NOT use this bank.

Very disappointed in the service I received from Fred on Wed Aug 9th at the Belleville West location. I went to be added to my husband's account, close my account that has fraud, and open another in its place. Before sitting down, I told Fred what I needed to do and that I needed to close my account and open another in it's place b/c my current acct has fraudulent activity due to my wallet being stolen which had my checkbook/debit card inside and handed him my passport. He stated, in order to be added to my husband's acct I need proof of address (I didn't know that, but happened to have my lawn service bill with my name/address on it..the same address that is on my acct), which he told me was unacceptable. I said ok and asked if you could go ahead close the acct that has fraud and open a new in it's place. He stated, "You have fraud on your acct?" I replied yes, I stated my wallet was stolen when I entered. He told I didn't need to open a new acct. I stated I did b/c my checkbook was in my wallet. He states, "Oh, your checkbook was in your wallet? Yes, you'll need to closed that acct and open a new one. I stated yes, I told you in the beginning my checkbook was stolen as well. Needless to say, he would not open me another account in it's place, show empathy, or listen to anything I was stating. After speaking with the Asst. Mgr when I got home, I returned Friday to and was helped by Daniel.

Closed my bank account without any notice. Tried to cash my check and they told me I couldnt and that I had to pay the fee with "CASH" which is what I was trying to do through my check I was giving them. Then was told to try cashing my check through bank of america but you need to be a member to do that.??

I called today to figure out why my mobile app wasn't working properly Ambriah was the one to answer my call. Sge was very rude and passive aggressive. I didn't understand what she was asking me and she treated me like I was stupid because I could here her. I will never return to this location.Update i just got a back to fix things dona was super sweet and made sure everything was good.

I'm very happy banking here. Employees are helpful. There's lots of perks with the free checking. Lots of locations in the area. The app is easy to use.

WANT YOUR DAY RUINED? This branch is disgraceful. Don't trust the anyone in the offices. They will lie and try to butter you up, because they are clueless, props. If you want your intelligence insulted go in the lobby. Life is not simple, but they hope you are. Not capable of handling situations without telling lies. Don't believe me, just go there. I contacted SCU and the branch about a two direct deposits to be sent simultaneously, I was told for two weeks they didn't receive one of the two. Then a young blonde manager, supposedly contacted Accounting and she relied from accounting, I should ask the sender for a 13 digit number. It was smoke, butter, a lie. One of Two Deposits hit...not likely. Scott Credit Union held that money for 2 weeks then returned it. This institution on W Main in Belleville should be closed. No integrity, None. The funds were dispersed over a month ago and thanks to SCU crap, I don't have it. This is why Pre Paid rules

I've been a member since 2003 and for the last couple of years have experienced horrible service at the West Main St. Branch in Belleville. It needs to be overhauled. I buy 5 money orders per month to send to charity. I'd been going through the drive thru to buy them because the inside was closed. About 4 months ago I was told I couldn't buy them through the drive thru. I found out that info was not accurate. I buy them at a gas station now. I sat in the drive through line today for 30 minutes and was told that his system was down and he would turn my transaction over to another teller. I had to call and ask if they'd forgotten me because I waited so long while other cars in other lanes that came after me were going right on thru. I don't understand. Thanks

Wow. The West Main Branch. The drive thru/backroom manager, white, fat, dark curly perm acts likes a mad animal. She hijacked a perfectly cordial transaction in the lobby, just as I agreed to accept the man's next to me contact info. She came on the camera and tried to pick a fight. She looked like a fat cracked out Laura Engle that had just got out the shower.

Been a member of this bank for about 2 years. I was very excited when they allowed me to join. After joining I realized I wasted my entire time! I joined because I've been told credit unions care more about customers than banks do and are more helpful and lenient with people wanting to rebuild credit. WRONG! This bank offers NOTHING! No offers, no help, no benefits of any kind. I was pre approved for an auto loan with capitol one but wanted to try getting a loan through Scott because I felt it would be better to have one with my bank. I applied and low and behold they rejected me because of my score they say being too low. Wrong again! So Capitol one approved me and they are a big and popular bank, but this small branch that I am part of rejected me. Not only will I be closing my account, but I will also not recommend this bank to anyone looking to start over and get back on their feet. Complete snobbery! The point of a bank is to help customers. This one is far from it!
