Rented a car and didn't notice my wallet was missing until the next day. I called Enterprise and left a message asking for a call back ASAP (they are closed on the weekend so I had to wait until Monday.) About an hour after they opened, I called again and spoke to Reid. I explained that I thought my wallet slid under the passenger seat and asked if he could look really quick. He replied with "ummm... IF I have time later I can go look and give you a call or you can come look" What really threw me off was that he said "if he has time." If someone told me they left their wallet in a car, I would have asked them to hold while I go look so I could give them some peace of mind and help them find something as important as a wallet. (After this phone call, I called corporate to see if they could do anything since Reid basically brushed it off and didn't care. They told me to 'wait it out'. Wait what out? Wait until someone else rents the vehicle and then my wallet is gone for good?!) A few hours went by and he never called back. My friend drove to the rental place and asked to look in the car. Reid then told her that the car was sent off to a shop so she couldn't look. I called Reid and got the name of the shop they sent the car to and he said "I'll call the shop and see if they can look. I'll call you back in 5 minutes" He read back my phone number to confirm it for when he calls back. At this point, I am annoyed that Reid said I could come look at the car at any time but then when we showed up, he said it was sent to a shop about 35 minutes away!!! 2 hours went by, and no call. So I called the shop and spoke to one of the employees who informed me that they did find my wallet and they tried calling Reid to get my number but he said he didn't know it. (a total lie... he confirmed my number before hanging up.) The guy at the shop said he would keep my wallet until we picked it up. About 30 minutes later (now 2.5 hours after Reid said he would call me) Reid called to let me know they found my wallet and he will tell them to bring it back with the car. I told him to leave it at the shop, we already made plans to pick it up. (I did not want Reid anywhere near my wallet as he is unreliable and seems clueless.) 30 Minutes later, Reid called me and said they delivered the car and brought my wallet back with it. (even though I specifically told him to NOT have them bring it back to him) Thankfully I didn't have to see Reid face to face because my friend was able to pick it up for me. Yes, I should be more careful with my wallet but accidents happen. After having to deal with Reid, I will NEVER make that mistake again. Going back to when we got the rental, the passenger side seat lever to adjust the seat was broken. Now we are getting charged for the 'damage' that was already there when we got the vehicle. Funny how Reid could find a tiny piece for the seat but couldn't see a giant wallet... I suggest you DON'T use this location to rent a vehicle. Drive the extra 20 minutes to a location that will hopefully treat you better. After reading the other reviews, it seems like this location only hires ignorant and clueless employees. *I emailed the account that was left in the comment but nobody ever replied*

I called ahead by a month an insurance claim we were hit! We asked for a truck and was given a rogue! Smelled bad called insurance they called Reed and had excuses it was a holiday! He said he call around he found us a 2023 jeep in Loves Park! But had no way to get it, so I took Rogue to trade Lives Park was very accommodating and was not a fast talker and said to show him the emails from previous pre approval! I would go to Loves Park for my business!! Let's add Loves Park when I arrived on December 16 just had ten cars dropped off for available rentals! Great people.

Good experience at this Enterprise-- Reed R was an engaged employee who provided us with excellent customer service, and the car we rented was a quality ride and seemed clean and well-kept. We will likely rent from them again in the future.

As it's the rental place nearest my home I have used them multiple time and have never really happy with my experience. Today I made reservation 4 days in advance of the time I needed the car. I was told they will not be able to get me a car. Emerald membership, corporate agreement doesn't seem to matter with this place. This is not the first time it has happened either. Often the interiors of the cars filthy burns and stains, they don't have the class of car you reserved. I would avoid this if you have options. The one decent thing they did was call to let me know they can't do anything.

Andre went above and beyond with customer service ! I had pre booked my rental and selected a certain car within my price range and when they didn’t have that car, he made sure to get me the same rate in something a little bigger (only option they had) THANK YOU

Enterprise in Belvidere is so very accommodating. Andre went out of his way to secure a car for us on very short notice. Definitely recommend this location.

Very satisfied with my experience at this location. I needed some things changed on my reservation with short notice which Andre was able to both accommodate and walk me through. He was great to work with and made the whole process stress free, which, having been in an accident (hence why I needed the rental) was a godsend.

This location is a scam. If you’re not paying attention to your bill and bank account they will over charge you. 2 weeks later after returning a rental they went and took out more money out of my bank account without discussing it with me. Sneaky, Sneaky, Sneaky

Very bad. I reserved a vehicle through Costco to get a discount. 2 weeks in advanced. Confirmed my reservation before hand. New manager Andre didn't have a car for me! WHAT! He said he can get one by the end of the day. I had to leave on my trip that morning. Never again!!

Rented a van for a trip we took booked online went in and wasn't told about the deposit online so was unexpected.
