Made several cash deposits on different occasions in their (ATM) later found out it isn’t their (ATM) from someone at the branch, and is serviced , not by them. Never showed up in my account, and never have I ever had to dispute a deposit transaction. Thank god I got a receipt, something I normally don’t do. We just opened the account maybe a month ago, and we don’t even use their debit cards, and there was fraudulent charges. All I can say is I’ve never had issues so many times, and in such little time with any bank. I understand they are a smaller bank, but I’m not trusting my money with them anymore. Looking for bigger, and more reputable banks. They definitely have some kinks they need to work out!!!

I deposited cash into the ATM after selling my car in order to write a check for the downpayment on a new one. This bank LOST MY DEPOSIT and only gave me $100. Then expected me to wait forever to get MY MONEY. I called corporate and was told there’s nothing they can do about the money even though I have the receipts showing the deposit was successful. I called the branch and they don’t even have record of me inputting my money. I’m new to this bank and signed up after moving and needing a local branch and I’m DISGUSTED at their policies. I’ve never seen money deposited in an ATM not be instant and no one I know has had this happen, especially not with large sums of cash. I’d stay away from FNBO entirely. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

I'm the happiest banker I have ever been in all of my banking years. All of the workers there like Angelina go above and beyond to help you. They all deserve a raise in pay & the beautiful Angelina sets the perfect example of how customer service should always be. I'm happy to bank where Free Checking really is free.

Hey Belvidere, I bank here, and I usually have no issues with my experience. Aside from time and time again having the displeasure of dealing with the fat Hispanic girl with glasses that works here. She insists on giving you a deposit slip instead of just taking your debit card and cash for depositing. "Do your job"! Every other teller there is very kind, and knows I give my card and cash. It has my name and all the information needed to verify a deposit. This very aggravating Woman has never been pleasant in my experience. She must be the manager because she hasn't been fired yet. She also told my wife she'll call the police because she was 15min early waiting for the drive through to open. Like I said "Never Kind".

My son banks at this bank and he recently had one of his personal checks fraudulently rendered thru his account. It was not signed and the party that deposited it's bank (someplace inl Itasca) allowed the check to be processed and his own bank first national Belvidere allowed the check to be honored and they have denied his dispute claim and will not return his money. I really don't care about policy number ....blah blah. Neither bank should have allowed this check to go thru. He and I were told by someone named Brooke that the bank can't review every check and transaction that goes through their accounts. This is pretty sad so basically anyone can pass an illegal check through this bank and if it's not caught in the right timeframe or in accordance with policy bla blah blah the too bad so sad you are out that money and guess you better be more careful next time?? REALLY!! Not good customer service first national. This customer will not be continuing with this poor excuse for a banking institution! Shame on you!

I was out of town away from my bank by 2 hours, and I requested the bank to break a $20 for me. They refused because I didn't have an account there. I explained I was far away from my home bank and they had zero sympathy and were very rude. I will never take my money there even if I moved back to the Rockford area.

Slowest bank ever. I have to wait 5- 10 mins for someone to acknowledge me. I do not have this bank as my personal use. I get checks from some one that has an account here. I tell him all the time to switch.
