Pearle Vision in Belvidere is an eye care retailer that has been serving customers since 1961 and was awarded the 2022 Women’s Choice Award for Best Eye Care Retailer. The doctors are professional and knowledgeable, explaining the process of each test. The staff is genuinely nice, helpful, and good at their jobs. They offer eye exams, state-of-the-art lenses, and a variety of designer frame brands, though the selection is rather small for frames. Customers appreciate the clear answers and personal attention. The office is nice enough and customers are in and out quickly.
Appointment was quick in and out. No pressure to buy frames and lenses from them. Very friendly staff. Good place to go for an eye exam.

My eye was injured and pearl saw me immediately, gave me an exam, flushed my eye, wrote a script, and I was all healed up by the next day. $27 with my insurance. Saved myself a trip to the ER.
