I love to stay at this location whenever I have a layover in Chicago. Complimentary shuttle from airport to hotel and vice versa. Complimentary buffet is a plus. Great front desk staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. Looking forward to stay again at this location.

Poor staff an house cleaners. I smoke bud an gutted an my swisher n the trashcan an charged my family an I 50 dollars for smoking cuz they seen the tobacco. Obviously I ain't smoke cuz they would've smelled the bud plus the tobacco in the trash. Make it make sense . We stay there once a week almost and never had problems until today. We will never be back.. checking in last night the guy mentioned the 50 dollar fee an charged ahead of time an never have had that done before either .. this place sucks service wise.

I would not recommend this hotel and would never ever stay again! There are many better options closer to the airport and would probably offer much better service. This is one of the worst Holiday INN/ IHG hotels I've ever stayed at.I was extremely disappointed with the booking, front desk/ reception, and overall attitude of the hotel front desk staff. I waited about an hour for an airport shuttle and when I called the hotel, they informed that there was no shuttle available through the hotel...even though the website states airport shuttle. I had to pay 50 USD for a taxi to take me from the airport to the hotel. Also, the hotel website is inaccurate about the hotel distance from the airport. It is much further then stated. Hotel/ IHG website states 3.54 miles, but actual distance is closer to 9 miles in the taxi. When I mentioned/ complained the front desk/ hotel "Manager", he said that is was unacceptable for me to be upset and threatened to cancel my reservation and kick me out of the hotel. Completely shocking and unacceptable, he gave no consideration to the circumstance and wanted to try to demonstrate power over me…ultimately with humiliation, I had to apologize to him, so that I could actually get my reserved and paid for room. Completely unacceptable behavior from hotel staff and ZERO customer service.A few key issues for the hotel.1. The Holiday Inn/ IHG website is inaccurate about the hotel distance from the airport; website states 3.54 miles, but actual distance by taxi closer to 9 miles2. There is no regularly operating airport shuttle. It is only available sometimes, and you must make a reservation. No airport pick ups…only scheduled drop off.3. A hotel front desk staff, Anthony, was extremely dismissive, rude and confrontational. Check in and front desk service was not anything close to what would be expected from an IHG/ Holiday Inn Hotel.4. There is nothing available for restaurants/ food/ drink anywhere near the hotel. You must take a taxi or try to order delivery.5. Room phone and internet were not working, as there was already an issue with the front desk staff, there was no solution for service.6. One elevator not working and other extremely slow.7. The hotel lobby and each floor foyer reeked of greasy fried food.8. Common areas/ lobby and corridors could have been cleaner.Positive1. I didn't eat breakfast, but the selection looked pretty good. Though there was a bad fried food smell in the dining area/ lobby.2. The room was clean, plenty of towels and room was adequate for the amount paid.I am a IHG Platinum Elite member, and I would highly recommend anyone to stay somewhere else. I made a complaint through the hotel and IHG, but there has been zero contact for over a week…disappointing response to a guest issue.

Great hotel with professional staff, big rooms, ice machine, laundry, clean pool and fresh breakfast! What else do you need? Also coffee was avaliable in the lobby all day long and there is coffee maker in the room.

Looks like a new place. Clean rooms and good atmosphere. Few concerns with sliding doors, curtains and in room amenities. 15 min drive to airport. Good parking and breakfast options.

I frequently travel and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Its close proximity to the airport and rental car depot was convenient. I appreciated the free parking and smooth/easy check-in. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfy, and the hot breakfast was the perfect start to each day.

Convenient location to the airport. We used this hotel's park and fly package. Our stay included 7 days of parking and each additional night was 10 dollars. The parking lot was well lit and safe. We stayed both before and after our trip. We would use this hotel again when flying out of Chicago.

We stayed two times here. Clean rooms. Breakfast was decent. They had usual scrambled eggs, pancakes and bakery stuff. We loved the stay and would come back again. Close to airport as well.

First, the rooms are brand new, modern, and the beds are the typical soft pillow top experience you find at Holiday Inn properties.Second, the service was not good at all during check in. The young man working behind the desk at 10p was snobby and sassy. He asked me to park my vehicle in an upper lot that was not accessible from the main parking lot, had no lights or visibility, and wasn’t paved so it was all uneven gravel and sharp curb corners. This was not appreciated at all.Lastly, this property is currently in violation of federal ADA laws regarding service animals. The same sassy man who checked me in just before 10p said they are not a pet friendly hotel and therefore charge a $100 fee for service animals. The next morning a different gal working up front said there was only a $100 deposit. I’ve posted a picture of this sign at their front desk, they need to remove the word fee. They are inviting themselves to civil liability with a costly ADA claim should someone care to pursue legal action.

This hotel has excellent staff. I arrived around 11pm and the lady at the front desk (might be the manager) was awesome. She had a very difficult customer before me and she kept her calm and handled it very well! Great job! Hotel was clean and comfortable. The only thing I can say they can improve on are the eggs and sausage for breakfast. Eggs and sausage were over cooked. Overall a great hotel for the family.

Very nice on the outside and inside. Service desk was quick and friendly. You will need to hang a parking card in your car for their lot which was beyond capacity on a Saturday night. There was a sports complex behind the parking lot where they said we could park in that case, a bit inconvenient. The room was clean. The bed was soft. No complaints. Did notice that all the coffee pods in the room were decaf. Breakfast was included. Hot and cold food available. The juice was not watered down as other hotels might do.

Shuttle service is broken. Phone number provided on website is incorrect, last shuttle from airport is 10.30pm (incorrectly stated on website as well), it runs every hour only, 7 seater broken minivan, only one door works, door opens up during transit.

Stayed one night. Room was comfortable, though more care could be put into cleaning as the carpet left my feet dirty, there were handprints on all the dark furniture, one sconce was burnt out, and bedding was stained and worn through. The first floor smelled very chemically and the space between the floor and bottom of our door was large enough to let that smell in our room. Fridge didn’t seem to keep anything cold enough. Free breakfast was fine, nothing too exciting. Free parking was convenient. Super affordable compared to other hotels in the area.

It was a nice clean room. But I paid extra for a suite. Apparently my definition of a 'suite' is different. I expect a suite to have at least one bedroom that is separate from the other. What we got was just a large room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch. Hot breakfast was good, but milk was sour the morning we were there.Worst part of our stay was the shuttle from the airport. It took over 55 minutes for the shuttle to show up to pick us up. That is unacceptable for a hotel that is less than 20 minutes away. The shuttle back to the airport in the morning was right on time, but the driver needs to learn not to constantly switch from gas to brake to gas to brake to ... (I think you get the idea.)
