I had problems getting my medicine when I was sick my insurance isn't accepted anymore so had to go to Walmart it took them 2 days to give Walmart my scripts after numerous calls from the pharmacy myself and my daughter

On May 25th, my husband and I went to get our second booster shot, that process went fairly well.The pharmacy had been calling saying I had a prescription ready and one pending but I was sure I did not have any that needed to be refilled or new ones.I asked about them and was told one was ready, one was in process. I asked what they were and the clerk handed me the one that was ready and it was my name and my birthdate but NOT my doctor or any prescriptions I take. I asked what the one in process was for and it was my name, my birthday and NOT my doctor, NOT my prescription. I told them neither were for me, that there was some kind of mistake and they just said they would look into it.My complaint is "what if I just took it home and took it thinking it was mine?" I am aware enough to check this kind of thing out but I am sure there are people with some issues that would just go ahead and have taken it and then what....? I do find this very disturbing, this used to be a good pharmacy but lately the service and mistakes like this can't be overlooked.I hope someone has looked into this and I certainly hope mistakes like this are not common and will not happen in the future.

My name is Nancy Costa. I am a retired RN, worked at a large, very busy trauma hospital in Springfield, Il for 35 years. On 1/12/2021 I called CVS pharmacy at 2135 and was on hold for 25 minutes until the pharmacy closed at 2200. No one ever answered the phone! I called the store and the "assistant manager" told me they were closing. "Good Night" she says haughtily because I guess she didn't like MY attitude. When I asked "why doesn't the pharmacy answer the phone"? Miss Snippy says " They have been very busy". It's really hilarious that this is a major pharmacy and this is the service it provides. I will be changing pharmacies in the morning. In closing, this has been happening a lot in the last few months here. I know that people are stressed and busy, but this staff has been rude and incompetent many times lately. The attitude is "I don't really care". They don't want to be bothered by their own customers. Fascinating! Post script. The reason I was calling is because I had been trying to get my BP medicine reordered for 3 days. They really don't care. My BP really is up now!
