Called to ask how to add another checking account, and was told it could easily be done through the app. After doing so, i needed to call back for a verification number- but conveniently i was put on a list afterwards that forces the automated system not to allow me to reach a banker over the phone. Weird

Tried to call to get simple information on making a wire transfer, and the recorded phone tree is almost impossible to navigate through in order to talk to a human. The computer insisted three times that I provide an account number or social security number before transferring me (I am not an established customer). And, the wait was about 15 minutes. Not a conducive business model. I assume this is not the choice of the local branch, but upper management should be made aware of this inconvenience.

Deposited $2900.00 through the atm on 9/9. The terminal shut down and said temporarily out of service. Called 24 hr banking, they said they filed a claim but it could take up to 45 days to get resolved. Went into the bank on the 10th to speak with someone in person. They said the claim wasn’t completely filed but they went ahead and put it through and in 10 days I would see the funds… I said this was unacceptable as the money deposited was to get my car from Nissan… and everyday my money is tied up is another day I have to pay $50 for a rental… so far we are at $400 extra dollars for a rental that I could have returned on the 13th. So Thursday the 12th they still do t see the money, they call it’s been expedited and they say check your account in the morning… no money. Go through the weekend, no money, Monday the 16th I call, the lady says every claim had been canceled out but she filed a new one and we are starting back over… so 10 days, that’s another $700 for the rental they have already costs me $400 on, so $1100 in total, when my car has been done since the 13th. Have called the past two days to speak to the bank manager Alex and she always says she will call me back… 2 days in a row of not calling back. The bank has not offered to make things right, comp what I shouldn’t have owed for the rental or anything. Just casual “oh sorry, yeah this happens every once in a while”…. It does?! Why? Definitely will be finding a new bank once this is all resolved. Worst experience ever. I see why they have 3.5 stars. Surprised it is t lower

*** edit after the reply from us bank. I missed the call from then after emailing them. I tried to call back a few times no answer or calls back. Nothing was resolved. I dont feel as if they were concerned about the behavior of their branch manager. We’ve since moved banks and will be closing accounts out this week at US bank.US bank in Benton, IL lost mine and my husbands business today. After going through drive through to deposit a check for my husband the BRANCH MANAGER ?? racially profiled my husband and was so distasteful. She hastily question where his checks were coming from in such a nasty manner. They were back pay workers comp checks until they lined out his direct deposit. But, she didnt stop there she told my husband he needed real identification (he has a TVDL) that real American people have.. which his TVDL is in fact a state ID and one of the forms of identification he used to open his account. She was aggressive and so hostile. After a few moments she came back to the screen to let me know she had every right to know where his money came from etc and that she was in error and his identification was appropriate. If the BRANCH MANAGER is this incapable of keeping her composure in a customer service environment we will most certainly take our finances else where to a more reputable bank. Sherry Ingram should be ashamed.

The emoyees here have always been a great help to me. Very professional and do their best to do their jobs. They helped me get my credit from bad to good in no time! I appreciate this bank and will continue to use its services forever! The US Bank app is also a pleasure to use.

Just no...when your bank costs me money, all I want to here is so sorry this happened and not to be treated poorly or not shown understanding when I get upset...how about sorry this happened we will get to the bottom of this and get you your money back...which is what the nice man at the 24/hr number said...learn better customer service skills at the branch level
