I received a suspicious empty pkg in the mail that this establishment delivered anyway. They don’t know where it came from and neither do I. They want me to track down the contents when they don’t even know what was in it either. It was hot in their bldg they let two or three people go ahead of me making me wait I mean we have discrimination again. I have heat intolerance and tachycardia it would be ashame if I had a heat stroke in their facility now wouldn’t it. There is no working for the customer anymore. Then I call their 1800 number and still no customer service making me do their work. I don’t understand the shenanigans anymore. It’s just everyone out for their self anymore. So I went back to the post office bcuz I found out it was an amazon pkg which the lady lied about earlier and said it wasn’t. Then the guy working was yelling at me and I asked him to tune down the yelling he just kept it up and said that’s how he talks.

These people are by far the worst and also the slow service ones compared to others. I had tried to submit a change of address because I had a PO box address here and I had to use the post office address for both my husband myself and my two minor children. It seems like they didn't process the change of address correctly because I just received confirmation from one of my children where they not only misspelled their own street address and forgot to place the box number but they put down the city and zip code of another city, not Benton. The day I filled out all the postcard forms to update address for my family, the gentleman that services us- the white haired or blonde haired dude that looked to be about in his mid thirties to mid 40s- had such an attitude when it came to my husband, I could notice a hint of racism in his tone of voice. I've explained more than once what I was doing and it seems like he had an issue because my husband had his current foreign passport as well as a state ID from his country (Honduras) and he said it was not acceptable, even though I had a lease stating the new address with my husband included on there. I have to redo a whole change of address for all members, including myself, and allow the post office in Carbondale to process that information because clearly they did this on purpose when I put them in their places that day, messing our mail stuff!

My son's birthday present was left on top of our mailbox instead of at our door. Our things are smashed inside the mailbox, and at times, we have wondered if we can even get our things out of it and or be broken and ripped because whoever delivers to buckner does not drop off at our door.

Benton Illinois post office opens whenever they feel like it. And the people working there are rude to customers. Act they are doing you a favor by exiting.

I always have exceptional service here. ALL of the employees are kind and do their job. I visit this post office sometimes daily and always get wonderful customer service. Thank you. Keep up the good work, I appreciate you!!!

Enter by front glass door to the right facing parking lot. Visited this Post Office to renew my Passport. Very easy process with help of Shaun & Caldvel. All: includes picture $15., forms, & envelope, mailing address, postage $9.65 with delivery date & tracking #.Amazing interior, comfortable seats with desks, very clean beautiful architectural building! Helpful to have appointment for passport.

Why is the older blonde headed lady the worst. She is always either upset, mad about something, or just plain rude!! She is super unprofessional. Supervisor or Post Master needs to address this. I know several people speaking about “ making her go viral” maybe that would solve our problems. Also a suggestion is to put her out on delivery alone without public services. Replace her with Bethany Davidson or someone that is good with the public. There is absolutely NO REASON she should be upfront or around the customers.
