I stopped by this store the other day to buy a gallon of ethanol free gas. I knew it was going to be more expensive than the big box store, but still got one for the convenience that it's close to my house. No employee greeted me. The cashier was in her own world. I made my purchase and left. Probably the last time I come here.

I always give ace hardware my business ! They have knowledgeable employees who bend over backwards to help you ! I'm a personal chef and I get my knives sharpened their. No matter what store you patronize the employees are really nice.

Had my water heater spewing water last week, went to Lowe’s explained to them the situation and they sent me home with the wrong sized spout. Ended up calling Ace and explaining what was leaking water. Nice man told me to come in and he will explain exactly what to do. Went in he sold me a 4$ pipe, I needed a pipe wrench cuz ill I had were adjustable, John was kind enough to lend me his. An hour later I had replaced the faulty pipe and my basement stopped flooding. Truly restored my faith in humanity, I was having a terrible week and this was the cherry on top and just having someone offer help was the make or break of it. Definitely recommend going in and asking John for advice especially as a first time home owner.

I was just there on Saturday, April 26, 2025. At about 1 PM. I was there shopping for A planter. While I was browsing the gardening tools, a gentleman Who works there yelled at me from across the store “ARE YOU DONE SIR?!” I understand he probably meant to ask me if I needed any help or was trying to greet me. Nonetheless, it was in a kind of Condescending tone and frankly quite rude. Maybe this gentleman doesn’t know how to great customers or he was just having a bad day. Not saying I’m going to stop shopping here, but it is a little bit less enjoyable when I go now.

Probably the most organized Ace I’ve been to. The staff had a great attitude and were attentive (especially for a Sunday). I don’t think there was a person that didn’t ask me if I needed help. I’ll definitely keep coming here

Was trying to get a grill for my new balcony and saw the one I wanted listed on Ace. Called the one in Lagrange Park but said item was being discontinued but did some checking and found one in Berwyn at JC Licht. Sandy told me it was the one right next to her in the box. I told her hold it and will get right over. Got there Sunday morning , Katie, another wonderful woman working that day started assembling. Store then got busy but took my phone number, called me back, helped put it in my vehicle and this place is amazing. Shout out to Sandy and Katie today. Best customer service. 5stars
