Berwyn's Toy & Trains is a great place for trains and toys, featuring very cool interactive model train layouts in the center of the store. It offers a good selection of 0, S, and HO scale train options, along with plenty of train and toy choices to purchase. The store has a small but well-curated selection of classic toys, including toy trucks and cars, Legos, Schleich figures, and fabulous Bruder trucks. It also carries a nice assortment of classic Testors and air brush paints for models, as well as art supplies, craft kits, and books. The staff are friendly, decent, kind, and very fair. They are present and busy helping customers, and they let kids hang out and enjoy the trains running around. The store can be very busy, but it is a delightful business with a good hidden selection of items like slotcars. It is a wonderful business with free street parking and is located right across the street from a McDonald's.

Wide selection of O scale trains and accessories. Also by far the biggest selection of Testors enamel paints I've seen. Friendly staff as well. Worth supporting local business.

The best train store in Chicago area; from starters to selections for expanding your track. The staff is friendly and ready to assist. Bonus is nice Lego and model sections.
