Before I moved to Berwyn I had always had good experiences at a Midas in the north suburbs.When I landed here in 2000 Bill and Ron's shop was walking distance from my house. In all those years and 4 or 5 difference cars they have never let down my wife and me. They have fixed tires after business hours. They have talked me out of repairs I thought I needed. And they have advised me on car purchases. The Midas on Ogden Avenue is a lifesaver.

I was there because of tire flat. They fixed it but also told me that my tire sensor was not working so the dash light doesn’t show off and extra 100 to fixed that problem. It worked fine before I show up this shop otherwise they broke it ! I don’t trust them however I skipped that and drove away and the light just went off . This Just a heads up for extra service that you don’t need. So terrible!

Ray was very effecient! He got a quote for me in less than 10 minutes and it was $200 less than other muffler shops!!! Bob did such a awesome job replacing my resonator and muffler and got me in and out in little over an hour

I had my car serviced here recently for the second time. The first time was an oil change. I scheduled another appointment months later after my check engine light came on. It was just an odd appointment after getting there. The appointment was at 4pm, and I had offered to bring it in another day, reasoning there wasn't enough time to work on it, but I was told it wasn't necessary and they'll see what they can do. The mechanic made comments about just loving 4 o'clock appointments right there in front of me. I had the sense he was annoyed he had another car to work on so late in the day. They close at 6pm, and again, I did offer to bring it in another day. I almost felt like a burden by asking if they could look at the car. It definitely wasn't customer appreciation day or it ended the moment I stepped in. All in all, they fixed the car, which ended up being a sensor, and I thanked them for staying late, as it went past 6pm, to which the mechanic said nothing to, but just briskly nodded. I almost felt sheepishly apologetic for my car breaking down, thus forcing him to work on it so late in the day. They could stand to be a little nicer. I always thought the idea of running a business was to welcome customers, and not scare them away.
