“I don’t have kids of my own, but i need my niece and her friends to think I’m the cooler than all other adults 🤷🏾‍♂ Its a mission tbh. I used to work at a toy store in the suburbs and that was definitely a good connect. but after moving on from that job i needed a chill place closer to where i live and i was happy to find them on IG. They really take the stress out of shopping for kids because i think most people underestimate how much pressure there is in buying gifts for children 😅”

Walked away with multiple stunning pieces that were very reasonably priced and in great condition. Martin, you are a gem of a human! Can’t wait to tell more friends to come by. Even more excited for when we’re back in town next because I will without a doubt stop by anytime I’m in Chicago. Don’t sleep on this spot y’all”

“Vintage shopping can really be hit or miss, especially as a mid-ish size woman. But here, a very sweet gentleman styled me in a dress I would have not chosen for myself. It fit me like a glove and made me feel gorgeous. I simply had no choice but to get the dress. Their selection is highly curated and the prices reflect the quality and attention to their vision. If we're ever in town again I'll definitely be returning! Thank you 💞✨”

“This store is moving and will close soon. It's fun to walk thru to see furniture that can be rented for occasions. Look up and catch the reclining Buddha over a doorway (if somebody hasn't grabbed it) Also lighting and lamps. Some just too cute. I'll try to catch them wherever they go in future. Oh, items seemed pricy, but then ... bargain as they won't want to move the heavy stuff.”

“What a lovely spot on Grand! I was on the hunt for flowers and a vintage decor store nearby sent me here. They have a great selection of bud flowers, vases, and dried flowers. There was also a bunch of home decor, jewelry, and other lovely trinkets. Prices had a wide range, but decor started down at about $10-20 I believe? The staff were also just very sweet and helpful! I will definitely be coming back, and I’ve already brought my uncle there since my first trip. ✨”

“High quality children's clothing, baby items (including baby wearing, diaper bags, etc.), maternity wear, toys (including my favorite LovEvery toys), books, coats, swim suits, art ... anything you could want from pregnancy to early teens. Daisy is the owner and she has a lot of pride for her store and it shows in her inventory. Everything was impeccable shape. You can consign items through the store too (in season for clothes) and she takes the least amount compared to other second hand children's stores I've been to in Chicago. She charges 33.3%. There were a few items from the Gap, but there were many higher end brands such as my favorite brands. She carried brands like Mini Melissa, Matilda Jane, QN, Nike, etc. I will definitely be back! Thank you for such a great experience.”

“Store B Vintage is a fun little stop in Wicker Park if you enjoy browsing vintage clothing and unique finds. The shop has a cool, eclectic feel, and it’s the kind of place where you can take your time looking through the racks and discover something unexpected. I liked the atmosphere and the variety of pieces—it feels more personal and interesting than a typical chain store. Even if you don’t end up buying anything, it’s worth popping in while exploring the neighborhood.”

“I am over the moon happy with my new Grundig counsel. I had been admiring Harlequin Vintage through socials for a while and I reached out explaining what I was looking for. Dave responded he just so happened to have the exact piece I was looking for! The sound is amazing. I had used his white-glove delivery service and was extremely impressed! Reliving the sound of music I listened to growing up and remembering my parents dancing....priceless. Thank you, Dave!!!”

Jeanie located some similar size and fabric buttons since I didn’t have a replacement. If you have a vintage piece and are wondering how to go about fixing or altering it, come here.”

“UPDATE: I previously reviewed this boutique after several disappointing experiences involving communication, consignment practices, and the handling of my items. While those concerns were legitimate at the time, I believe in being fair when a business makes positive changes—and my most recent visit pleasantly surprised me. I had the pleasure of meeting Monique, who was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring about what she called “the product.” I don't typically think of my gently used goodies as “product,” but she was absolutely right! Her business acumen and attention to the merchandise were refreshing, and I felt confident having her handle my items. I was equally pleased to see Sophie herself in the shop. I've known her presence there since the boutique's earlier “days of glory,” when she was open seven days a week and personally worked with customers. I always appreciated her approachability, fashion-forward eye, and distinctive sense of classy, timeless style. It was refreshing to see her engaged with the business again—particularly when she honored the time she had given me to review my items and was there as promised. And, of course, I enjoyed seeing her adorable dog roaming around the shop! I'm also encouraged by the improvements to their consignment practices. They are now providing a formal contract clearly outlining the proceeds split: the seller receives 30% and the consignment shop receives 20%. Having the arrangement documented upfront provides greater transparency and is a meaningful improvement from my previous experience. As a bona fide fashionista, I know that as styles evolve, so does my wardrobe—and something I no longer wear can still be valuable to someone else. I also love supporting small local businesses and come from a family of small-business owners, so I understand the importance of adapting and evolving. Although the boutique is no longer open seven days a week and Sophie isn't as accessible as she once was, I appreciate the evolution of the business and its apparent willingness to adapt. I also noticed an expanded selection, including fitness apparel, which is a welcome addition. I hope they eventually devote a small section to clothing for people of size as well. Everyone deserves to feel represented, stylish, and welcome regardless of their size. Overall, I'm glad I gave this boutique another chance. My previous concerns haven't been forgotten, but I also won't overlook positive changes when I see them. This visit left me considerably more optimistic about the direction of the business.”
