I went to this post office with my ESA and his documented paperwork.
I walked in the door and the female worker stops what she is doing and tells me in front of other customers loudly I can't bring my dog in the building. She says it twice, I responded by saying ma'am I have paperwork stating he's an emotional support animal.
She then says well he is going to wait on you because I am allergic.
I say okay because I am both stunned and embarrassed at this point.
So she tells the male employee to help me, he doesn't greet or welcome me.
I asked him if he would like to see my dogs paperwork.
I give it to him, he reads it and gives it back. Still no Hello or how can I assist you.
I explain to him.that I am there because of a email I received about proof of residency.
I show him my phone, he scans it and proceeds to tell me what I need to have my mail released.
He tell me they have me at the address i lived at for 6 months, where I did not receive mail only packages .
I tried explaining why I did not have proof I lived there, he wasn't hearing any of it.
I then gave him my ID and because it still has my former address on it, he told me I needed to get my license updated to reflect my new address.
Sir I have only been here 2 weeks.
He would not listen to anything I said, no compassion nor patience.
I told him I had a lease and written proof that from the landlord at the address in question saying I was there for 6 months.
He was not hearing anything I was saying. He litterly dismissed me while I was still speaking
I left there embarrassed and angry.
To top that off, I could hear the young lady who said she was allergic to dogs, asking from the back are they gone yet.
I was still in the building and he told her yea.
This is the worst postal service I have encountered in years.
Here is the other part.
I went to another post office, explained my situation, brought my lease and in less the 5 minutes the situation was rectified.
I hope I never have to come to this post office again.

I went today for a change of address the guy literally there is yelling at me because I didn't do something right on the change of address form very rude very rude very rude yelling at me for no reason he should not be working at a place like that I did not appreciate him talking to me like that I'm going to have a talk with my buddy the mayor of Berwyn very uncomfortable it happened at 12:00

I had a few questions and the staff were patient and helpful.
I choose to go to this post office over the other ones in the area.
The hours are also more accommodating compared to other nearby locations.

The local office never picks up the phone. Ever. They can’t be that busy. Sometimes you need to speak with the local office and not the central 800 national number. They need to either hire more people or make it priority that someone monitors phone calls.

Great service! Made passport appointments for my kids at Cicero post office and they didn’t have a passport clerk working. Sent us off by saying the Berwyn office could help us, that was a lie. But Berwyn office managed to squeeze us in and take care of us. Hard to find work ethic like this. Really looked out for us, considering they have their own appointments to handle. Needless to say the clerk at the Berwyn office is awesome!

I was mailing 20 cards within the 60402 area so I took them Thursday to the Berwyn post office thinking that by doing this they might be delivered Friday but most likely Saturday
Nope not yet delivered
Plus waiting in line there omg NO sense of urgency what so ever
Terrible service there
The ONLY bright spot is our Mail carrier

Haven't been getting mail at 3121 S. Harlem for MONTHS now. What is the deal?! Still waiting on feedback for this... Tax forms and far more completely missing even though Informed Delivery in e-mail shows them coming...

Worst post office ever!! They open at 830am but they stand in front of the computer looking at the sky while 10 people are waiting in line to be serviced. Trump needs to fire them all !!

This is a fantastic post office! Highly recommend going here for passport and all mailing needs. I applied for passport here last week and the Black man helping me was so knowledgeable and friendly. I was expecting long lines and a long process so I didn't park in the 30 minute parking. But there was no waiting and it was very easy process. I had to fix a line or two he caught that I wrote wrong, he was very polite about it too. Even with that and taking my photo. I was in and out in about 15-20 minutes. I wish I got the employee's name. Hopefully he's there next week for my kids passports so I can give him recognition.

Went for my daughter’s passport, Geri helped us and wow what a tremendous worker! Was able to accommodate us so quickly and efficiently. She made the process Smooth and easy. I don’t understand some of the other reviews because those reviews do not reflect the service she provided us with.

The employee who works in the passport department is poorly polite. Yesterday I was in line for 40 minutes waiting for service, when it was my turn she simply refused to provide service saying that I did not have an appointment. 2 people ahead of me also did not have an appointment and they did receive service. The postal worker was upset because one of the people in line (3 people ahead of me) did not speak English.

Bad customer service and lack of knowledge on how to use their fingerprint machine. Avoid this location unless you're bored and feel like having your time wasted.
