I spent $91,000 on windows/glass from Ed Slayden. Honestly, it was the worst mistake of my life. I've waited 6 years to leave this review. We asked for NanoWalls and got cheap knockoffs. Ed disappeared immediately after payment and I haven't seen him since. What was installed has never worked correctly, leaks like a sieve when it rains and is difficult to open and close.

I asked for a simple glass request and was told we don’t have anyone that can cut glass. We don’t want your business and go somewhere else. I live in Bethalto and very frustrated they don’t value customers.

In 2015 I contracted Bethalto glass to install folding glass windows/walls on our commercial building. Asked for Nanawalls but Ed (the owner) substituted cheap Hamco windows instead. The windows have been a nightmare ever since. Difficult to open and close and they leak water into the building terribly when it rains. I paid over $91,000 for the windows and Bethalto Glass disappeared after they got paid.

Doesn't do auto glass. How is this place still open. Pointless business taking up space.

Very poor customer service. Rude on the phone. Hung up on me in middle of conversation. Will not use again for anything.

If you want your window fixed go somewhere else. My kids broke the neighbors 2'x2' single pane window. They charged $14 for the glass and $180 for the labor. Said it took 2 hours to replace the glass and claimed they have to pay their workers $60 an hour. I didn't have a choice because the neighbor just told them to fix it without getting a price. This was also the "friends" price as the neighbor has them do other work. According to other people I talked to, that bid was extremely high and that they have used them before and the bid was nowhere near this.
